My goodness this is easily the best update for this game to date. I dont even know where to start..... I will just end up ripping that Mustang GT3 and Furai around Fujimi for quite some time today and everything else will fall into place. Really good to hear some Lance Hayes classics will be played in game from previous Forza's...really good to hear that!

I am thinking the graphics improvments are visible. When brake lights appear the glow and flares look more in line with Forza Horizon 5. Also this is first time in FM2023 that there are tunnels. I want to hear how the audio sounds when in the tunnels.
This is a very impressive update.

(sorry, I use Google translate.)

I'm not good at drifting at all in this game but this might easily sway me to get into it with all the drift cars we have now. And hopefully Time Attack gets it's own division

I hope the Mustang GT3 sounds good.

What an incredible update, they really delivered with this one! ☺️

The amount of character that Fujimi brings is immense, that trailer looked fantastic!

Solid lineup of cars as well, and just €5 for 5 cars is much better than what I would have thought. It’s actually better value than the Horizon packs.

Can’t wait to drive the Mustang GT3 later this week when coming home from a work trip, and then seeing it in real life again at the 6 Hours of Spa this weekend :)

And that they added a De Tomaso is simply the cherry on the cake, would not have expected this and then they even added a different model compared to FM4. Well done Turn10 :)

Ok, so this is a good car pack. The Pantera is a huge surprise, I didn't expect that one...

  • Forza Motorsport: Racing Heroes Car Pack (5 cars)
    • 2024 Ford Mustang GT3
    • 2008 Mazda Furai
    • 2001 Formula Drift #215 Nissan Silvia Spec-R
    • 1997 Toyota Mark II Tourer V JZX100
    • 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5

Is the new car pack already available to purchase? I dont see it under "add ons" in the game pass app but we know how these things go sometimes.

This level of track size and scenery complexity feels to me like the PG team is now heavily working on the FH6 engine and some of that tech was back ported into FM23. In comparison the Nurburgring 24h definitely wasn't anywhere near as complex, after all.

Mazda probably have CAD models they send to developers. Alternatively, one can look at older game models and update them based on photos of the real thing to improve them.
I do remember that a lot of the Forzavista models in FM4 were "overmodeled" and had way more polygons than the in-race models did, so that they could be reused in later games on more powerful hardware. And I'm pretty sure the Furai was a DLC car in FM4 as well, so it's not too much of a stretch to think they could have taken that and used it as a base to recreate the new version.

I can see myself cracking a cold one and just travel back in time to when I was a teen playing Forza after school.
Same. I was 15 when I first booted up the original Forza and raced on the original Fujimi. Such good times and this just brings it back full circle
