I think you just have to replay the first race and the reward car should pop up. I had that happen with the Road to Race series. Once I redid the first race of the first series I got the reward car.I finished the Nemesis tour after it returned and didn't get a reward car lol. I did the 1st 2 series the 1st time during the initial FOMO period and now got back to the last 2 after it reopened. Wonder if I need to replay the whole thing to get the CLK.
This worked for me when I had the same issue not getting the prize car for the anniversary tour.I think you just have to replay the first race and the reward car should pop up. I had that happen with the Road to Race series. Once I redid the first race of the first series I got the reward car.
But like any online-only game, there could always be an update that puts the career data into the base game and allows people to play offline. Of course, with Turn 10 all but gone, the odds of that aren't great.Like any online-required game it’ll be unplayable when things go down, but given Forza’s history with servers we’ve got another 6-7 years before that’s an issue.
For some games it’s not that easy. I remember it being discussed for DiRT Rally 2.0 and the online checks were so intertwined with the rest of the game that it would have taken 6 months of development time at minimum. But like any online-only game, there could always be an update that puts the career data into the base game and allows people to play offline. Reminds me of a mobile game I loved to play back in '22 called Disney Mirrorverse. It was online-only and they sunset the game in '24. I even asked if an offline patch was possible, but they said there was too much to rework. For some games it’s not that easy. Yes. And even the physical copies don't mattter, if it can't connect it doesn't go anywhere. Devs apparently don't care and will happily rent you something at full price. The en****ification of everything continues. This approach bespeaks a disregard for players in general, especially those wanting to revisit older titles in their libraries. Maybe it's just "oldmanyellsatclouds.jpg" but it really annoys me that I can purchase a game but not own it, in that sense. I get that there's an expectation that all games have an online component/multiplayer etc but it shouldn't be game-breaking.
"You will own nothing and you will.... well we hope it's enough to keep you from rioting at least."Yes. And even the physical copies don't mattter, if it can't connect it doesn't go anywhere. I use a mod to enable frame generation too, and while it causes some nasty visual issues when moving around menus because it's not officially supported, it's allowed me to run with max settings on DLAA at 4K on an RTX 4070Ti Super. I haven't checked its max framerate because I've capped it at 60 so I can have a video on the side if I feel like it. But it's certainly comfortable at 60, and it looks great. The frame generation still has far fewer smearing and ghosting issues than the base TAA. I absolutely recommend it to anyone comfortable with light PC tinkering. Not that it will matter to many, but after Nvidia updated their DLSS models to 4.5 I've been running the game at the recommended graphical settings but WITH high RTGI enabled and wow! 1440p at no less than stable 70 fps, but I'm getting 82 on average, even in a demanding scenario like running in the rain at Hakone, with very stable images and no noticeable artifacts.
To expand, my card is a 4070 Super and DLSS is set to performance, with the M preset set in the game's profile in Nvidia's app, just override and use the latest model. But if you want to play on quality or higher, then the K preset has more performance. Sorry, if you get into PC gaming, you have to learn to do this spell craft.
This is the game telling me "Don't uninstall me yet, bro", and in the PC landscape, honestly, there is no one that now comes close to this performance. AC EVO? probably a couple of years away.
Sadly doing 1 race did not work.I think you just have to replay the first race and the reward car should pop up. I had that happen with the Road to Race series. Once I redid the first race of the first series I got the reward car.
