You can reach it from the pre-race menu using the R stick, how do you get there in any other menus?

Still use R stick button from the main home page, surely?
Press X in your garage to "explode" the currently selected car.

This guy goes from the garage to "vista" at 1:03, how? There is no menu option for it?


Look at the bottom menu here at 0:10

I think if you let it run for long enough it automatically goes into various Vista views?
That was 1 minute 50 seconds of him not touching anything until the car "explodes" (the terminology T10 use). You don't hear any key press sound to let you know he's selected anything. I'll have to load it up and check myself, damn I'm never in-game when reading these threads

It very much is the right stick, still. The first video isn't him going into vista, its an automated response to your inactivity. That's why the view is panning like it does, because it's not controlled by the player.

The second video, you can see the "(R) Forzavista" Icon at the bottom right.
