Isn't it technically the ONE-76 now? Since one crashed?
Technically, yes. Let's hope the crashed one from Hong Kong won't be a total loss, or at least get repaired (or rather re-build) anyway.
This is probably the first credible rumor GTPlanet has seen in months.
This is the kind of DLC talk thread we need here on GTP
On another token, in the description of the S7, we find this...
As I said yesterday, the DBS is mentioned in the game, but neither the word 'Volante' nor the word 'One-77'.
You're right about the Saleen then though, we most likely won't see it in GT. Going to update OP.
Good call. It's good to especulate since it keeps the interest in the game, but being honest, this is most likely the reason.
Check for other manufacturers, OP. Remember that there is a bunch of models in the museum that are not in the game.
Look:
Hi all.
...
After discovering that quite exciting find I decided to scroll down the credits in case I'd find something else interesting, but the only unused car name I found was this.
Saleen "S7R" would be nice to have in the future too.
I did look for other car manufacturers but didn't find anything else that could be interesting. What I also noticed is that most manufacturers don't mention every single car but rather just the brand.
Its a cool find but in 30 seconds people will be posting "Confirmed Aston Martin DLC" , lets not get ahead of ourselves here for once
Nope. We have a good moderation team to clean that up in case it begins. 👍
There was a Volante in GT1 if I'm not mistaken. They probably still have the liscense.
And you know what? I'm reading my GT4 manual and apart from the horrible typos, they also mention the Aston Martin Lagonda! That car was not in GT4?! Never mind. I thought they were talking about that ugly arse sedan, not the manufacturer.
In Land Rover they also mention the... wait for it... the SERIES 1! It's a shame but that was also not in the game.
Another few. In Volvo they mention the 850T, the 5R and the S8. None of them in the game.
So yeah, who knows. They probably have to include those names if they mention those models in other car's descriptions.
You're correct about the DB7 Volante in GT1!
That only leaves the One-77 being used/mentioned nowhere in the GT series so far.
About the Land Rover Series One, check the Range Rover Concept's description, pretty sure it's mentioned there. Same about the Volvos.
still, no clue or trace for the ONE-77 in the game, let the hunt begin, so all the other models are actually in other models' descriptions as i thought it would be, but the
one-77? could it be written on a poster at London? or in a Photo Travel Location? this is really interesting
👍
I doubt that they use it as a commercial anywhere on the tracks, then again PD tries to be as close to reality as possible, including the "Ring Taxi M5" poster on the Nordschleife and a BMW 3 Series commercial in Tokyo R246 for example. It's possible they show the One-77 somewhere on a track. I hope they don't.
I don´t assume anything until i see it ingame or official announced...
There was a game (think it was Test drive unlimited), which had some lambos in it, the credits mentioned the Diablo aswell.....the car never appeared ingame....
Test Drive Unlimited 1 had Lamborghini included, across all platforms. When developing Test Drive Unlimited 2, Atari/Eden Games had limited money resources so they couldn't afford both the Ferrari and Lamborghini license. Therefore they had to choose and excluded Lamborghini. (Got this from googling "TDU Lamborghini License")
Which credits do you mean mentions the Diablo? TDU's credits maybe do (didn't check that myself), but they probably have only the license for that single Lamborghini then and didn't include it therefore or there was another problem. GT's credits do because the Lamborghini NOMAD Diablo GT-1 (JGTC) ’00 is included in GT5.
If it's legit, the new NSX would probably be in there as well after being in the SSRX video, although no word on that has been made yet...
No, I'm not 100% sure but I think it only says the model names or even only Honda as brand name. If it says the model names, the new NSX is "included" under the term "NSX" as well as the old ones, which exact model versions are licensed is a secret of PD and Honda.
On the other hand, a licensing problem could be the reason we still don't have the Honda NSX in GT5 although it probably was done the same time Route X came out! Another reason could be that they are keeping it for the last, huge DLC car pack, in case it ever will be released.
This is going off-topic
