This just looks like so much fun. The 31s are begging to be abused, bombing over sandy hills.

Also the color is kind of fantastic.

15" alloys used on early second generation Rangers are handsome.

Apparently also Explorers! Of course it's not particularly surprising, but I didn't know that.

But my god do those headlights need some love.

Not sure how I missed this at the time, especially when I saw the Dentside Ford after it, but that's a great lift and tire diameter for a 60-series and the graphics are pretty fantastic.

While I do like the standard wheelbase Scout, they are a little awkward looking with so much rear overhang while the rear arches come right up to the door. The Traveler, however, is a really handsome truck. I love these Rallye stripes compared to the hockey stripes so typical to Rallyes.

Well, that's different.

Reportedly 38s...and they're maybe a bit much?

Gorgeous color. Look to be 35s with a 2-2.5" lift? Not a fan of bigger wheels on older 4x4s but the wheel choice itself makes it less unpleasant and it's a very good looking truck otherwise.

Gotta love a CUCV. This is the M1028, a proper five-quarter, with the posi front instead of the open diff Dana 60 of the M1008. Standard height and 33s.

Jimini Cricket! Great googamoogah! That’s a beast! Look like it could flatten your house. If anyone’s wife touches those keys, she’d grow chest hair instantly! I believe that’s the actual vehicle that pulls the Sun up. The closer you get to it the more dense your skin becomes. You can’t drive that unless you can wield Mjolnir. NASA was going to use it as the first Mars rover(that’s why the second-gen Bronco was delayed), but they didn’t have enough Titans to compensate for Viking’s payload. Shame.

Black Lexus is black.

It's a lot of black. Maybe too much? Different finishes would help. But I really like the OE wheels in gloss black.

I love an 80-series and the market is a lot more...sane...than that for 60s. The 1FZ is also great and you can boost performance (literally) but I was thinking a 1VD 4.5L turbo diesel V8 from later global market (no North America that I'm aware, and certainly not US) LCs would be very cool, with heaps more low end, while keeping the LX450 name "honest."
