We try and switch up the times for our events so people from all over the world have a chance to participate in club events. Unfortunately right now I'm without a working console and being club president I have no way of getting you a club invite at the moment, however i'm working on it. If you would like to join just let me know and I will be sure to get out and invite to you as soon as i'm back up and running.

I would, but I'm at work.:irked: Hopefully, I'll have some time to play tomorrow. I haven't tried to drive with the new patch yet either...I'm sure I'll be pretty terrible at first. :ill:

Sorry guys, I won't be making the race. I tried to drive the Stratos, tried to tune every possible parameter and still spun in every other corner. Got so pissed off at the game that I don't think I can touch it again tonight... :banghead:

And yes, I should've made it 4WD but I'm so stubborn that I will not. :p

HEYYYY!! I'm so stupid. I think it was not the car, it was me! I didn't understand the patch has finally fixed the 900 degree bug in the game! Now the steering works as it should, and I can't drive for s**t! :D Perfect! Now it takes a few weeks to get my "skills" back again, yet I'm so happy!

Just tried drifting, and all I can say is: MY GOD I SUCK.

If you go into ''My Club'' it will have the current members highlighted that are online and on Forza 4. Of course you can also just start a room and invite club members (there is an option) to find all those pesky hidden online members:lol: If they decide to bite the bait, LOL.

I mean, in general. Would be nice to have a community chat you wouldn't have to be in the ingame club for - Which i'm not in ;p

Phil that clutch makes a heck of a difference to the starts, but it takes some getting used to, I find myself over braking.

Still after seeing the start you got in our impromptu race it looks like it's worth sticking at..

you'd eased up for a bit at the hairpin (turn6), and I thought I might catch Carlos!

but with the application of some late handbrake!! I could see the sultana was raisin his game ;)

There was some brief contact at hairpin from the back of the field (me) and I tucked in for the run into the stadium section.

A close Run into the right at turn12 saw the Sultana, with a fruity note from his tyres run wide!

I passed... but in all that excitement I'd gotten a bit to heavy on the brakes and was taken with a superb move by Carlos stuffing it up the Inside at turn 15..

Over the start finish line for the last lap.. I made some time up at the hairpin again and we raced into the stadium section.. was there more drama to unfold ( well common would you rather just see the pictures! :D)

The run up from the hairpin put me in a good position for turn 7 and I found myself on the inside line going into the left hander at turn 8

trying to keep it together this time, we headed into the final corners.

Carlos never gave in, I knew he'd be coming after me and he was faster in the last part of the circuit.

Coming out of the last corner he was catching me and pulling out for the overtake on the home straight..

But in the end the run to the chequered flag just wasn't long enough and I pipped him into second place.

MarmiteEngineer was by this time doing the post race interviews! because we didn't see that much of him!!

Great Race guys enjoyed it, let's do it again some time.

To the other club members let's get out of rivals mode and spend some time racing!!👍

GSlooney, haha yeah it was nice racing you! Great fun. Nice coverage too! Hope more people get online.. It's really a shame, 88 members and only a handful is active..

And Phil, saw you online but was racing 1v1 against a friend and I just had to kick his ass.. I'm back tomorrow!
 
^ I'm hoping to be back on tomorrow.

I got my fan in today, hooked it up and works fine. I get the disk drive tomorrow most likely (if not definitely Wednesday).

Yep me too, I would have sold a kidney or sell manjuice........anyway!

@Carlos, I will be racing a bit more when I finish this semester, I will have a 30+ day break between semesters and I have been struggling with my math class but once it's over I will start joining up in official and unofficial races more.
 
That's a good reason, school first! Otherwise you're going to be a lazy working man with too much time to play Forza...

Hmm, that's doesn't sound that bad does it?
 
I'm usually working on saturdays which is why I haven't done any of the official races.

Not that I would be able to even if I was free, did my first qualifier last week and placed #26. I must be horrible!

Sorry guys. Iv'e been sidetracked and totally forgot about this weeks events since I still don't have a fully functioning console. If all goes well I will start back up next week and if not then I will get with our co-leaders to see if someone can fill in. If someone wants to put a club race together for this Saturday then feel free.

Looks like I will have to wait 1 more day for my disk drive to get here. If I do get up and running I may try and qualify but won't be able to race this weekend since I have family coming from out of town that will be staying with me the weekend. Next week however I will be going at it full force! (barring my console is functioning)

What time is that EST? I'm thinking it's 5pm....if so, I probably won't be able to race this Saturday. I'll probably still try to qualify though....just in case.
 
Awesome! Finally get to take out my Escort. Even though it would be more fun if the cars were more stock. That is alright though, I guess I'll be buying myself another.👍 Also please check out my Soccer Saturdays car soccer thread if interested.
 
I know I'm not really active in this thread or the weekly races (can't really anyway due to work schedule) but I'm loving all the rivals I get! Some of you guys are really fast :)
