Hey guys! I just posted a new thread about our Club Championship Season 2 to discuss how we could improve our racing experience (what changes should be made, what new could be introduced etc.). It is quite hard to pick up suggestions and opinions from this 3000 post monster, so I think it will be more efficient this way! :)

So, anyone know if we have to beat the JP Montoya monthly challenge at a time better than his even though it's dirty or any clean time will count?
 
Clean laps always beat dirty laps regardless of time

I just cleared my name off your googledoc list. Between connection issues, scheduling conflicts, and the fact I let my Gold expire I won't be joining any races. I think I only ever made it into two races anyway, a long while ago, but I really enjoyed the rival fights.

So #54 is now available. Thanks!

We're having tuning and livery competitions starting this weekend and I'm sure there will always be someone on to race with. Me and Forcone had some good fun racing and drifting yesterday....well he was drifting while I was spinning out and crashing because I'm not a drifter. :lol: I think Chris said season 2 will start early next month.
 
perhaps some of You fellas wants to do some frendly racing later tonight? a, b or s class? want some close racing :D did some hoppers yesterday with cars from the club garage and my! some if them are fast in corners! dominated with both the f50 and the aston!

What time do you wanna race and what time zone are you in?

That's 5pm here....I'm usually on a little earlier than that so you probably won't see me on at that time.

I'm sure someone will be on. Just start up a lobby and there's an option to invite club members. For some reason, a lot of our club members won't accept invites to race though. You can only expect a handful of certain members to race with you.

my tips are:
1: so a couple of laps to get the tires nice and warm. the vette are more slippery than a baboon on an ice rink on cold tires.

2: be VERY gentle on the throttle out of corners. try to barely feather the throttle until your car is straight, and then gun it.

3: take the corners wider than the ideal line. it helps you get the car straight faster.

4: brake earlier to the first corner than the line tells you, and cut it! but remember to have low speed so you can handle the second turn without oversteering.

5: use ghosts a bit faster than yourself to find braking points and turning points.

What is his time right now? Last I heard it was a dirty lap, but that was probably when the challenge first came out.
 
I think he is on a 1:32.xxx clean lap
 
That first corner sucks, can't seem to get it right need a lot of practice. Its hard to judge as the track seems dark with that time setting.

car is fun got my drift achievement with this drift :D

 
Hey guys, don't forget Hennessey is starting his Production Car Series today at 1pm est. Let's show him some support by racing with him today if you can. I'm gonna try to make it if, I get back home in time from some errands that I have to run. :cheers:
