Looks like I have to work this weekend at 12:30-6:45 CST, so I'll be missing the race. Why do my Saturdays have to be so busy.
 
I just got Forza 4 finally, so I can be on a whole lot more to race with all of you (at least, as much as skyrim will permit me :p).

Btw, I didn't see any schedule or anything in the first post, is there a doc or something with upcoming qualifiers, races and such?

EDIT: Just found the separate thread about it, so how does it all work? (I'm sorry, haven't kept up lately so I'm kinda late to the party.)
 
Set my qualifying time last night, got lucky with the AI and set the quickest time of the club with my 2nd lap. Hopefully I'll stay in the top 12 before the race, not a fan of track days :(

The way I've understood it is this: from Monday to Saturday we have time to run a qualifying event, chosen by zr1chris, which determines who get to race in the Saturday's race (the fastest people obviously). The qualifying events and upcoming races are all in that thread. Usually a loaner-car is provided for the races if someone chooses not to build their own.

So basically you take part just by posting a qualifying time, then if you're fast enough, you get to race! :) The time of the race varies a bit since we have people from all over the world, so that everyone would get a chance to participate!

Even if you're not fast enough to qualify, you'll probably still be able to race on Saturdays. I don't think there's been a full lobby yet for a club race.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

I am happy to announce the plan for weekly Saturday club racing. Every Monday I will announce a specific Rivals event to be used for qualifying. This qualifying event will start immediately upon announcement and will end on Fridays at midnight est. This method of qualifying rewards clean and fast drivers. The top 12 in the event will be invited to race, the remaining 4 spots will go to whoever gets in first when I send the full club invite however club leaders are entitled to the 4 provisional spots first. This method of qualifying will both help the club's ranking, give us a method of qualifying, and give us cleaner racing on Saturdays.

Right now it's still just for fun but I was hoping to do a championship style format in the future where points would be given out but it's on hold right now to see if more people will join in and also because my xbox is in a hundred pieces right now (i'm attempting to repair rrod). Also there is no loaner this week unless someone else can provide it.

I'm really hoping to get my repair kit today but I have a feeling tomorrow would be the earliest. I have the console ready and waiting to be put back together.
 
Just checked the mail box when I went to lunch and my repair kit has arrived. I will be attempting to finish it tonight when I get off work. Wish me luck guys!
 
Guys, sorry if this is a wrong thread to as a question, or if it was made already, but... If I buy Season Pass in a few weeks, do I still get all the DLCs?

BTW, sorry for my inactivness. Skyrim really hooked me up :)
 
So how much power you guys getting out of your Camaros? I'm getting 717HP right now! :sly: Oh I would make Jeremy Clarkson proud, although part of me thinks it's signifying it won't turn any better than the Titanic! :lol:

Yes, it should.

If you buy the Season pass you get every DLC that gets released in the first 6 months + the muscle car pack.

Same for me with Skyrim :bowdown:
 
My xbox is working at the moment! (Just turned it on for a couple short minutes though) :D I'm going to give it a short workout after the game is over.

Did you heat it up properly? ;) Good to know it's still running! I've fixed so many of these that I can say it's quite rare for an Xbox360 to break so that it becomes unrepairable. It's always those damn solder balls! The way you break it is heating it too much, which I've also done! :D

I think I'll have to build a Camaro today...! The race will be held 2am here, but maybe with a bit of help from coffee and some beer, I'll manage to stay up till that! 💡

@Forcone, To be honest I skipped the heating process. I was afraid of screwing it up. I really think mine just needed the thermal compound replaced because there was hardly any left on the processor. If it goes rrod again then i'll do it.

OK, good to know it's working. =) My experience tells me that long sessions kill the console if there's even a bit wrong with the solder balls. First they heat up for a long period of time, then when you shut the console and let it cool, they crack. But now you know what to do if and when that happens!

And yes, track days are a nightmare!

BTW Wheel users, have you messed with the advanced wheel settings? I just remembered they existed! I had every deadzone set to 0 in FM3, and now did that with FM4 and at least in autocross it makes a world of a difference, when even the tiniest input is registered! Such accuracy! Now off to work! :)
 
Finally got my invite in game. Thanks zr1Chris. Cant wait to play with some of you guys. Gives me lots of rivals to have fun with :D

I tried mine with some 620HP and it was a complete nightmare! :D Now it's putting out ~485HP and it's seconds faster! Still sucks but! 💡
 
I'm running a little behind still. I have yet to modify a Camaro. Luckily the race isn't until 6pm est so I still have plenty of time to get one ready.

BTW I will supply a loaner. Should be up in a couple hours from now.

I think mine is putting somewhere around 380HP. Put on some nice slicks though, it corners quite well. Made it super tight, that's how I like 'em. (That really was not intended, goes both ways though. :sly:) Sucks you can't make it, hopefully next week!

I think I'm going to use my next couple hours to create a livery. Chris, I keep forgetting but do you think you could send me an unlocked version of the club logo?
 
Sorry you can't make it this week Forcone. Next week I plan on an early start time (slightly earlier than usual). Just trying to switch it up to give some of our other members that haven't been able to make or normal time a chance to race.

Painting my Camaro now. Also have one painted for the loaner already. Just need to mod them and I will be putting the loaner in the club garage shortly.

Update: The Loaner is in the garage.
 
Just letting you know I won't be there this week either, sucks because I even built a Camaro for it, FPM logos and all :(

Damn it, would have been a good time for me to be able to race but I've spent most of the morning and going to spend a lot more time out side working on my dads Kenworth...
 
I didn't make the major races but I was around during some of the later ones.

Happily I wasn't almost falling asleep behind the controller :)
 
It was fun, even though I finished toward the back of the pack for most of the races. I started the Camaro race 5th and finished 5th. I rage quit after the Ferrari race because somebody spun me out of 2nd place on the next to last lap. :banghead:
