I think a lot of club members have moved on to other games. :( I never see more than 4 or 5 club members playing this game at any give time, when I'm playing.

It happens, but I still think we have a fairly good group. I dont think Battlefield, CoD, Skyrim or even Zelda helped the situation any either. But I wouldn't get used to it, right when you think the races are getting better in the online lobbies, Christmas hits and a whole bunch of noobies are in control.

The great thing about Forza is they will usually be back. There have been allot of big releases lately which is going to die down since there aren't too many big ones on the horizon. Forza has much more sustainability imo. Players may leave for other games for awhile but they usually come back to Forza once they are done with the other games.

I hope this is the case. I play several other games, but I always come back to this one.

Tonight im going to be do some C class Circuit racing and B class Drag racing from about 6pm GMT if any one want's to join me.

I'll be on in a few minutes from now...I probably won't be on for long though.

Totally agree, once this weekend hits, I'll be shuffling my way through Zelda: SS 👍 Then go right back to racin'.

For me, the thing about racing games is the unlimited fun factor. Yeah there may be a season to beat but to me it comes down to tuning that certain car or bettering that lap time. And with the addition of Rivals mode, the sky is the limit.

Yeah I am one of those guilty of being engrossed with other games, ie Skyrim (I hate you) but like the rest of you have said, I always come back to the racing titles. It is to be expected if someone is a ''gamer''.

Good racing today phil....even though you spanked me in pretty much all the drag races  That Voodoo guy ran me off the track on the 'Ring after I passed him for 2nd place! :banghead:

Skyrim has a lot of my attention lately. I'm an Elder Scrolls freak, but I try to balance my play time between Skyrim, Forza, and Halo. With a little of Battlefield on the side.

Hmmm... Seems I have to find some time tomorrow for Forza, .002 seconds my a**!!! :D

Yeah. Thanks for the warning. Ive been trying to track you down for the past day. I'm almost there. The car I'm using is fast enough. It's just a matter of putting a lap together. You keep killing me on that double right hander (basically one corner).

It's actually quite hard, isn't it! You think you got ages of time to think the next corner, your next move through, and still you end up messing it up! Glad the track is this short this time! :)

I'm really so so close to ordering the clubsport pedals, I'm certain they would improve my driving as I completely suck in braking!

edit: Oh and I love that corner! Don't remember how I did it on that lap, but I always get some nice lift off oversteer with the Golf there! :D

That was a blast.. shame I didn't pick up about a million points because of the 900 degree bug..
And where did that wheel drop out bug come from !one minute your in control next thing it's here comes the armco!

Iv'e been noticing your time dropping and noticed you just took over first. That's going to be hard to beat.

it was not a perfect lap with the set-up I'm using I think there's a little more there.

But since I can't race on a Saturday I thought I'd give it a go and see how it went..

I was 2nd in qualifying at one point yesterday, but it sounds like a couple of you guys have passed me. I'm in Miami with my wife until tomorrow night, so I won't be able to improve on my time. :irked:

Oh, this looks nice! Have a couple hours to try and beat you guys before going to work... This is gonna be fun...Or frustrating... :D

And frustrating it was!! My god these times are beginning to be just plain ridiculous! After two and half hours I was starting to gain some speed and was running constant 50.200-300's but now my time is up and I'll have to go to work! Kudos to the one who breaks that 50 sec barrier! I know my Golf could do it but I don't seem to have the time nor the balls! :D

Consistency is often better than a one off lap time, I've managed a few sub 50's but not a clean one :banghead:

I'm at work, so please enlighten me... which track and car restrictions is the qualifying in? I tried to google it but to no avail. I still have time to give it a try tonight, so I want to mentally prepare :)

Edit: I know it's Rivals > Open Time Attack > Front Wheel Drive but I don't have all the Rivals modes memorized yet ;)

@Melting Brains, the Time Attack is called Front Wheel Drive. Track is Circuit de Catalunya.

@GSlooney, nice job breaking the sound barrier.....I mean 50 second mark!

Cheers, I expect one of you to do better, I did manage another couple of hundreds but not clean.. it's there for the taking.. I'm out now for Dinner until late and then tomorrow I'm out visiting my folks, it's there 50th wedding anniversary..

Enjoy your racing.

And Happy thanksgiving for those who celebrate such things;)
