I'm at work, so please enlighten me... which track and car restrictions is the qualifying in? I tried to google it but to no avail. I still have time to give it a try tonight, so I want to mentally prepare :)

Edit: I know it's Rivals > Open Time Attack > Front Wheel Drive but I don't have all the Rivals modes memorized yet ;)

Cheers, I expect one of you to do better, I did manage another couple of hundreds but not clean.. it's there for the taking.. I'm out now for Dinner until late and then tomorrow I'm out visiting my folks, it's there 50th wedding anniversary..

I was trying to race your new ghost this morning.... and... :banghead:

I can get ahead going into that double right-hander, then you pass me and I can't quite stay up with you through the S's. I have no idea how you help the second half of the S turn. It looks like you wait way to long to turn in then it's like you just yank the wheel left and the car turns on a dime. It almost looks like your ghost is 4 off (I can't follow your line or I get an invalid) and then you get it up on 2 wheels coming out of the corner. :bowdown: It's just madness trying to keep up while watching that. :banghead:

Nope. You have until midnight est tonight. Also even if you don't qualify there will still most likely be some open spots left for you on Saturday.
 
I was like 3rd for a while, but then logged on and had like 3 rival messages telling me i got passed :( I like the little aygo but its not doing it for me, i need to hopefully try out another car soon and see what i can do.

Its a vid of me trying to beat your dumb score..(i cant believe you beat me by 3 points.) I was pushing to hard and ended up losing control :(

I forget if the evo can have RWD. I'll have to tune one of those bad boys, I dont think I have one yet anyway. Not saying that the loaner car isn't good though.

There is no option for RWD swap. That was the first thing I looked for tonight when building mine. The loaner is nothing special. Just done using the auto-upgrade with some tweaks to try and get a little more out of it. Seems to be pretty competitive every week though.

Course I have noticed that in general cars seem to be "closer".

It was a good mix of FWD cars we had.

Agreed. I had the Abarth in 4th until about an hour to go. I figured since the top 2 guys had the Spark, that was the only way I had a chance of grabbing the top spot with just an hour left. Luckily Melting Brains put his car in the club garage because the Spark I built was absolute garbage.

It was very close and everyone did a great job!
 
Outstanding lap times, I must try that car setup. Good luck to all. As I said, I can't make the race perhaps next time.

Congrats Chris. Before you guys brought out the Spark, I think the top 12 times were within about 1 second of each other. I'm not sure if I'll be home around race time, so I may not participate today.

I got my lap with 18 minutes to spare. :sly: BTW great job tuning that thing. My Spark was terrible.

Thanks guys. Looking forward to today's race with you guys. I got lap times of high 1:09's low 1:10's last night when I was setting my car up.

I can make the race after all! My setup sucks but I'll still try! :)
 
I just got the E74 message. I messaged Jimbo about hosting but haven't heard back. I'm trying to get it working quick but not sure if it's going to work.

I know. Go figure. The thing works for over a week with no issues and now less than an hour before race time I start it up and get 1 red light (instead of the 3 I was getting before) and the E74 message. :banghead:

Well that was intense!! Me and Thatman had a pretty good race going on between us, even had a few huge crashes along the way! :D So so so difficult to find a place to pass on that track, almost impossible! How where things between you guys behind us?

Yeah, you guys didn't take long to overtake me for the lead. :ouch: I couldn't quite catch the 3rd place car...don't remember who it was.
 
Well, lets just say when your last place, you miss it all, LOL. I love that track, except that first left round about, always slowed me down. There were a few moments where I was right on the tail of JB Stryker, but that damn turn would make me fall back and he'd be gone again.

I know what you mean about that turn. I had to prep myself before taking it each time just to make sure I didn't loose any precious seconds that would allow you to close in the distance between us. The loaner vehicle understeered too much for my liking. I felt like I had to slow down way too much just to make some of those turns that I usually glide through easily.

The pack of us would have been a lot closer if it wasn't for the rough start that happened at the back of the grid.

Yeah, next time I'll have ya!:mischievous: I wish I would have seen if I had a faster time though. Though it wouldn't surprise me if you did. Good stuff either way.:)

Yeah it was a really good race! :)

I think my car handled a bit better than yours...! I could brake later and caught you in corners but you left me on the straights. There was simply no room to overtake you! :D I tried to wait patiently for you to make a mistake but you hardly did any! So nice driving!
