Agreed he also was pretty consistent at racing with us every Saturday which was a great benefit to our events.

I have him on my FL so I will see if he joined another club tonight when I turn on the xbox. It shows in the club invite screen what clubs all my friends are on.

I sent him a pm asking why he quit, but he didn't reply back. :confused: He's on my friends list too.....I'll message him on Xbox Live next time I'm on and ask him what's up.
 
Well I got "7th" so far and that is where I'm sticking since I WILL NOT do that anymore.:mad:

And about marmite, I swear I had him as a friend though I don't even see him on my list...:odd:

Wow this was weird! I was doing some laps when all of a sudden my Xbox RROD'ed, computer bluescreened and internet connection went down, all at the exact same time! HMMMM! :D

edit: Actually come to think of: SMELLS LIKE SABOTAGE! Who's our household hacker?! :D
 
He's playing alot of Gears of War 3 lately so I think it's becaus of that.

Edit: I see I'm in sixth place now, going to give it another try! :D

Oh No! Not again! Might be time for a new console this time. Iv'e never heard of getting a blue screen. :odd: Hope you can find a fix for it. :ill:

Nah, just a random crash with the computer, nothing serious. I'll get the Box sorted tomorrow, tonight I'm too tired. :) I don't think I'm going to be improving my time. That 3:01.xxx I posted is not perfect but pretty damn good, so I don't think I'd be able to catch GSLooney. :p Hate that damn traffic, that stupid AI with their stupid braking points and stupid overtakes :D

Anyone found to be cheating will not be awarded any points for qualifying this week and it's possible that there may be further penalties afterwards. I will be checking replays of our top 10 tonight. I hope to not find any problems.

Gotta say.. your right and my last lap time was the result of slowing down on the previous lap..

Whilst it was a complete nightmare getting the first sub 3 minute time. I noticed afterwards that when I screwed the lap up there was no point pushing on and so rather than restart I'd cruise the lap. the position of the cars then when you crossed the line on occasions meant you might not meet them at the pinch points. and so not thinking about the consequences (network issues have prevented me taking part in your serious racing so far) I treated it as an experiment and a bit of fun!

However there's now no way any of you can validate any of my earlier laps.. and so that circle of trust is busted!! :ill: I am an ASS!!

feel free to administer whatever you think is the correct penance. I understand that this may have brought the club into disrepute and so if it's the decision of the committee/club that I should resign and leave (or get booted) then so be it, I screwed up and everything in life has a consequence!

As I said earlier, as I can't really do much online racing because of the network issues I have, I didn't think to much about this as I wouldn't be in the race anyway. I have enjoyed the racing with those online.. and so humbly I await the clubs decision. :o
 
I don't think the punishment will be too harsh GSloony. It is good that you emitted it instead of Chris finding out. In other news for the Americans, Lane Kiffin(USC head football coach) was at the school I coach at. Nice guy. We already have a player I personally coached going there next year and he's looking at some other o-lineman we have to give out scholarships to.

It wasn't bad. Only what I stated in the announcement. Next time will be much more severe. I think it's pretty fair.

This one is definitely a challenge because the course is so long....so many opportunities to make a mistake. It took me a while to figure out what I had to do to get a clean lap....now I need to figure out how to get a fast clean lap! :p

I just want to introduce myself. I've been racing in GT5 for a while and just trying to find some good racing in FM. I added myself to the spreadsheet and I'm waiting on zr1chris to make room on his friends list. Looking forward to racing with y'all soon!

Try using the full driving line. Unless they're making a pass, you can see where there going exactly. That what I did and it helped tremendously.

Thanks, I'll try that but the moves the AI cars are making take them off what would seem to be the preferred racing line. Sometimes they just randomly swerve to the side for no apparent reason other than to wreck me...or maybe they're trying to make a pass at the most inopportune times? Also, the brake checking when they are miles from a turn is ridiculous! :mad:

I'm hoping he will get here in the early end of the time frame so I can be ready in time for our 1pm scheduled race. Stay tuned on this site around 12pm-12:30pm for any announcement of a possible delay for our race. Sorry for the inconvenience guys. Hopefully it will get done early enough to not interfere.

And I still cant qualify......yall guys are smoking fast...Makes me want to go buy a Fanatec with my tax money...Maybe that will get me in a race..
I would like to ask a question.....Have yall ever tried different classes for races. When I used to race bikes, your slower riders were D Class and the faster riders were A Class. Once you won the Class you were in 3 times in the season you got bumped up the the next fastest Class...I know it would be rather hard to set up but it is just a thought for us slower guys....
