Oh, you sick man Talon. I really did not think of that when I wrote it! I meant to say I'm dropping the problem I have now. Trying to get Wesley to help me with my DNS errors. He's pretty smart so why not?

Oh, I have one more story to amuse you all!

Today, Wesley had something he wanted to give to Kirsten (well there may have been a second one, but that can't be said!). We waited by the main entrance (me, Wesley, and Gio.) for her so Wesley could do what he had to do. Now Wesley comes in with 2 chards of thinck plastic, with a seat buckle attaching them. And awwwww, it was a heart. *smashes computer*

Apparently he had to go into his backyard, into an old Ford Tempo infested with snakes, just to get the buckle.
God dammnit, how the hell do I top that one?

All I had to say was "so, Wesley, you think your trying to one-up here?"

Good thing he doesn't know about "my problem"

Well things are starting to build up nicely in my class, nobody did their English homework and my book was passed around everywhere (cause i'm a foreighner, and English is my mothertung). :dunce:
The class i'm in right now is FAAAAAAAAAAAR better then my previous one, cause of one individual "destroying" the whole class. (erm, i won't go into detail, long story)
The only thing i'm not amused with is the final stage of the humiliation, which is soon. Like Sept 24th, soon. :grumpy:
I don't think i'll go to that "party".

:scared: Don't go to the parties!

As for my strange day...

School, went as planned. Nothing new. Went directly from school with Wesley and Kirsten to the mall, where we stayed for the next 5 hours with Helen. All we did was wander, and now I'm.....

...competing with another guy. And it's Wesley.

:scared: I can't win at life.

So Wesley is now after her and she still has a boyfriend? I wanna meet this girl. :p

On an unrelated note, I thought for a second I saw you at school today. There's this kid in my PE class who's name is Andrew, and he pretty much fits the description you have given so far in this thread. He's a sophomore though. :ouch:

You pretty much have that right, but I felt bad for him because of his story. Apparently he nearly had someone but then they gave him the corny "just friends" line. And he thought he had a chance with Kirsten. I felt really sad for him. And yes, she has a boyfriend.

And no you can't meet her! :p

Called the friend zone guise. Google image it.

Actually Foolkiller beat me to it but like I said, Google image it. Once inside the friend zone there is no escape

"keep telling yourself it's better than nothing"

Pssh. With the things I know about kids my age (14), there's just more to want. Unfortunately, I don't know. I'm just really mixed up these days, too much combined with too little. I feel like I'm making no sense.

Oh the friend zone. Been there, done that. Me and half of the world I guess

I ended up moving on. I had no choice. She got a boyfriend and they just wouldn't split up. I acted selfishly and ended up completely ruining my friendship with her. Maybe it was for the best since it certainly helped me get over her.

Anyway, I believe you have only two options. You either tell her what you feel, what will probably spook her away, since she already has a boyfriend and "never thought of you as one". Or you can not tell her anything and steadily move away from her. I don't consider keeping things as they are an option because honestly, I kept things as they were for a whole damn year and that's a year of my life I'll never have back.

I guess I'm unique in teen matters, in that I seriously could not care any less.

If I could only feel the same.

And with the 2 decisions you give me above, I want this one:

"don't say anything, but DON'T drift away"

I don't want to. She's the nicest person I know, and that says something. Like I said, maybe something will happen, maybe it won't, but I'm just going to see how this year unravels and go for the best. I'm not in too good of a mood today, my mom is presssuring me to watch football, and I just can't watch it without my dad being there. Feels empty.

PE was the 🤬. I took it once for a credit & then took it again as a blowoff class during my high school years.

Yeah, PE is more of a social period than anything. Nero, if you hate it that much, you aren't doin' it right.

No, it just means no one wants to talk to him. :sly:

Seriously though, they can't possibly keep you from talking while doing PE-ish things. :odd:

Dude, you have to be lucky! My PE class for the year is aquatics. Swimming in a freezing pool seeing women in bathing suits. It's utter torture. Well, maybe not.

And just a quick thing for today, I went to the mall to hang with Wesley (and I had to get out BAD) It was fun, although my mental process is confusing me. Kirsten told me to buy her a heart. Just a heart. Nothing else.

Why the hell did I do this? It's just a heart! A wooden heart worth $0.84! And our conversation before that was absolutely NO FUN, if you understand where I think I'm going with this. School tomorrow, although this seems like more of a life thread to me.

You should just re-title it to "The GT_Prologue5 support thread" or something like that :D

What did she want the heart for? That's a bit of a strange request for someone you're just friends with.

 but I don't really know how to rename it anyways...
But not a half bad idea for the name! 👍

Is it even possible for non-premium members to rename a thread?

1. The hell if I should know! It's just a plainw ooden heart. Maybe if I smashed it in peices and said it was mine....

2. I don't know. Maybe.

Hey, only 100 more posts!

We get it. High school kids have sex. Do you really think we don't know that?

I've been stuck in the friend zone too, and I decided to sack up and ask her out. Unfortunately it didn't work out as planned, but I have no regrets. I understand, you don't want to lose what you have (great friend), but you want to be more than a friend. Now, here's the question you need to ask yourself. In 10 years when you lose contact with her, will you be content with just having been good friends, or will you be restlessly wondering what could have been? The conclusion I came to, was that I'd rather not have any regrets 10 years from now than have a good friend for 2 years.

It's not generally a good idea to be "good friends" with the opposite sex anyway. You should be creating good friendships with all your guy buddies instead of girls. If asking her out doesn't go your way then you should consider spending less time with her and more time with your buddies. And of course if you refuse to ask her then just skip to that last part and put her on the backburner. It'll help your emotions out in the long run.

How is that possible? That class is all about being social & teamwork unless your teachers are taking the "physical education" meaning seriously.

My teacher takes PE really seriously, no talkin.
Well, i did the 60 meter run, i come back to the starting grid, and i said:

"I broke the school record! 6'83!!!"

Then everyone pulled a face like WTF??? That was priceless LMAO.

Then i said:

"...which is actually 10'83!"
I love being sarcastic.

And due to my unusual height, i always step on a girl's foot, everyday. The same one.

...and long behold, i'm still the youngest in my class. :dunce:

It is fun to watch puberty hit someone else. The hormones hit and suddenly these friends of the opposite sex seem completely different.

And once puberty hits you need to listen to this advice. Unfortunately, most people don't figure it out for years.

It is what I like to call the "When Harry Met Sally" effect.
