No cars getting banned as of yet, but the M3 CSL and the 86 GT are quite close.

Will have to see next race.

Yeah well, the RX-8 won both races though, and the 86 seems to have a disadvantage in tire wear as well as in the drivability on cold tires, to say something to its defence.

How can u say that! My race pace was awful the RX-8 was on fire. The M3 can only do 3 really fast laps.

Not gonna lie, was kinda thinking of change to the '86 (I know you'll hate that, but if you cant beat 'em, join 'em :scared:). But if it might get banned.........:S

The 86 is a dream to drive?

Jake there is 3 of us running this you can't just bann it with out speaking to me and josh about it.

Did I mention the way the 86 wanted to snap in every corner exit when on cold tires? ;)

Nah, whatever, just saying that it's still beatable.

I don't see any point in changing cars my s2000 might be really slow but I want to stick with it and do the whole season because you never know if the next track will suit it. Also I don't want to be a sheep and use the same car as everyone else.

Sticking with any of the FWD's is a bad move . It's not a bad car, but it's tyre wear 👎

If you're able to do 1'23's in Deep Forest with the S2000, the others could be in great trouble, I've only got high 1'24's at best. :indiff:

Thats why I didn't pick one of them in the first place knew it would have a lot. Also I was having a good race until I had a little spin so I know the car has more potential that I extracted out of it this week.

I have been messing around with my turn now and can't get any where near it now 👎

sorry double post.

Yeah, the cement is legal..

I don't think it should be used but it's too hard to stop people cutting it in Qualifying so...

Thank goodness, you guys had me worried, but it still looks bad for me.

Yeah, and when people are running alone in the races, it's kind of impossible to witness them cutting it either.

I would also propose allowing the cutting of the Monaco chicane, because as it stands, it's just too narrow and people would certainly have to take the straighter route when they're on the outside, causing a danger to the driver who has taken the inside, because they'll be coming right on their path and can't turn as easily onto the next straight.

I did wonder about the cutting, I'm never cut so far in practice. I figure it's worth maybe half a second maybe. I think it would be too hard to police it too, so it's probably the right call. Also, some of these events are super tough to come from the back in the second race, might need some strategy calls/finishes here. Madrid, Monaco...Tsukuba. *urp*

Just don't pit on lap 6. Its very hard to keep your tyres good for the whole race. Then you just get swamped when everyone else goes on fresh rubber. 👎

I think I pitted one or two laps after you. I think right after! Because I was so, so far back, I was hoping for an undercut.

Same mine worked, but then once everyone came out of the pits on fresh rubber they could just fly past me. :(

Will join in regarding the banning (slightly late yeah ;d). But isn't the point of banning cars only when there is one car dominating? Now there were 3 different cars (maybe would be more if not for mistakes and clashes) that were fighting for victory in both races.

And regarding cold tyres, everyone has problems with them, not only the gt86, had a half-spin myself and lost a position.

Well, I had other problems... hah. But by the end they were pretty much done for sure and caracer picked me off.

And I agree about the banning. It was close, especially the first race. I don't think any deserve to be banned. And people who feel there car isn't competitive have a chance to pick something that could be.

I haven't said anything about bans I am just thinking outloud.

The M3 CSL did a 1.24.3 in practise, which was about 6/10ths faster than the pole lap today, if DF got a lap together it would have been a case of goodbye CSL I think.

Not saying it will be banned I am just thinking out loud.

I ran a 24.5 with the Shelby in practice and I figure I could get a little more but still, the CSL is the fastest of the BMWs by a land slide just like the my shelby is the fastest US cars, and so on.

I'm not sure the RX-8 is quite that fast as those two times. Just stable and nice... I might do a few pictures. Maybe...
