My apologies, I experienced a bit of lag in that corner. I'm not sure what happened but from my perspective you had swung a little wide and I tucked up beside you on the inside line, at the apex you ghosted and reappeared with half of your car IN my car, then just as sudden you reappeared and bumped off the side of my car. I had no idea what happened so kept racing...

I ended up getting a little lose in front of someone who, probably inadvertently, managed to PIT maneuver me which meant I had to get going again from last place. Funny how karma works eh?

Anyways, I settled into a rhythm and managed to get a few places back until a momentary lapse in judgement allowed sick to drive by. Overall, I was satisfied with the race, but wish I had done better.

According to my lap times, I shouldn't have been up there on second place at all. I only kept up with the leading trio because they were battling it out from start to finish, which slowed them down and then unlucky Pimiki spun near the end. Simba and Siggers must have had troubles at the start, but recovered and both had faster lap times than me.

I managed to pass Zolon at some point somehow, maybe he struggled with worn tires, and keep up with eran, when Pimiki spun out I decided not to risk too much, just hoping for a mistake from eran, which didn't happen. So I was very happy with the second place finish.

It showed me again that, if you manage to get around Turn 1 safely and drive consistent, you can end up on podium. Even though your fastest lap times are half a second slower than that of the fast(er) guys.

This Bitter was a large saloon - unfortunately my first photo showing the front didn't come out and with this shot I was trying to avoid showing the exhaust because someone had fitted a giant, teenager style exhaust which looked like it had come straight off a Citroen Saxo!

Rome turned out to be a piece of cake, thanks to the good start I got (bonus points for drag race skills?). It was just a matter of maintaining the gap.

I'd also like to point out that with six starts and three wins I've got a win ratio of 50%! Unfortunately my DNS ratio is also 50%...
