Focus over steers in the wet. Looks like a Peugeot / Range Rover Season long fight

The Peugeot understeers but apart from that it's like a RWD car, as it's good off the line and good in the wet.

Also can't seem to get the final corner correct at willow springs

The oversteer is brilliant for me, into Druids at Brands I can just lift off the gas and let the car slide round. Beautiful.

Me and lout we only really winning and coming towards the front because the races were only 3/4 laps long and when your good off the line and can make up those places then everyone takes eachother out it may look like the Rangey is OP. But I garuntee that over the race distance it will fall back more.

Seemed a real handful in the wet, quite surprised by that.

That's because its pretty much a RWD with how the torques split. I got it right on the practice lap going nearly a second faster than everyone else but the weight in a race situation effected me as I had to slow down a lot so that I didn't slide into other cars. Then I was going down the start finish straight and turned round the kink and it started to over steer a lot. I when to catch it and it threw itself the other way straight into the outside wall. I had to drive each corner at least one or two gears higher so that it didnt spin out.

The Hyundai felt decent in the wet, it was actually fun even though I wasn't the fastest out there, I ended with a 55.6 after finding my comfort during the end of the race.

Wheelspin in 4th here. Interesting in all cars having strength and weaknesses:

BMW
+ Immensely fast.
- Incredibly twitchy and hard to drive.

Hyundai
+ Very pointed, and rapid.
- Again, twitchy and tricky.

Ford
+ Great handling and cornering at higher speeds.
- Hates slow stuff, poor off the line.

Peugeot
+ Fast on straights, good in wet.
- Very inconsistent car to drive.

Rangey
+ Amazing grip and launch off line.
- Tough to handle when it goes wrong.

Renault
+ Great at starts, good on straights.
- Doesn't like fast turns, understeer.

Honda
+ Very good handling.
- Not greatest in a straight.

The Hyundai isn't twitchy, it feels like sticky gum, just that if you don't take a corner right it just fires up off, but that usually happens at the start when the tyres are cold, just need to take care a little bit over the kerbs and exits, you can expect a small slide which is easy to correct but other times it just snaps, but overall it's very nice.

Happy it's not been over nerfed either, we had a hell of a drag race. Those Brands events where insane. First 2 or 3 laps at Brands will be chaos.

That moment where I a hit a stationary car which was stuck on the grid after 1 lap.

Oh dear indeed

Track boundary tweaks for Silverstone International, at turn leading onto Hangar straight, allowed to run off onto the tarmac of the GP track after the cones.

Rangeys also isn't great in straights but has brilliant torque and mechanical grip. The extra weight makes it better in the twisty bits but hinders in the straight. I imagine that when the surface water is at 50% it will be lightning as the weight will push it into the ground causing more traction. But at 100% the wheels just spin.

Glad you know what your talking about then Mr M:rolleyes:

I got wheelspin to 100mph

Decided on a car yet Sparky?
Seein the points you made for each machine, I'm in careful consideration. I need seat time with all of them (This requires a GT6 copy).
