If I do a Vettel, I can't get accused of aggressive driving

In all fairness guys, give HSV a break! It makes no difference if the lap was honest or dodgey - it was in a test race, it counts for nothing in the championship!

Though I rarely post up lap times, for this reason, I would be inclined to believe him - what does he have to gain by either a) lying or b) cheating

Actually it was noted during practice that his car had a different red line to the other focus's

The quicker PD put a full proof spec checking system in GT the better (don't hold ya breath obviously). Least us fussy old blokes can come and play with confidence then.:guilty: This is he isn't he stuff is a real drag.:irked:

So good for us to be racing ToCA again... I loved last evening races, both for my results (and our team's as well) and for the racing itself... :D:tup:

R1: I did an OK start but ended up dropping to 7th due to Scania not paying any attention and pushing me against Pit Exit wall. After that i got into a good battle with @Ninners that last quite a few laps until I found some pace and I was able to build a gap to him. Even though I was trying hard, I wasn't able to gain much on those ahead of me, that is until the last 6 laps when the track started getting wetter and suddely my car bursted into life and I found myself lapping almost a second faster than the trio ahead of me which allowed me to overtake @hsv010 and @DrifterJoe as well as finish within a couple of tenths of @Scaniabebe...

R2: I had a very good race from the get go and by lap 10 I got to the lead after starting 14th (the Civic really is a beast with water on track between 5-25%) and was able to manage a small gap to @snowgt when he eventually got to 2nd almost all the way except for a moment when I got sideways on Paddock Hill on the penultimate lap and he got ahead when entering Druids but since I was able to hold the inside line I kept the lead on corner exit and was able to secure the win on ToCA's 200th race... :D

R3: Apart from a stupid bug that kept me frozen on the grid, (the word START never showed on my screen), which caused the Red Flag and subsequent rolling start, it was an OK race where I was able to climb through the ranks and eventually finish 4th...

Also after a short test today at Silverstone, all I can hope is for some light rain because somehow this car allowed me to be 1 tenth faster (1:18.0 vs 1:18.1) with 11% water on track than on a dry one... :odd:

Best I've done there is a mid/low 1:08

Well when I left the test lobby the best time was my 1:07.6, and I think Yeratel and Ninners were maybe only about .2/3 behind that (most people were solidly in the mid/low 1:08s IIRC). I really don't see there being .8/9 left in that, .2 or 3 at best.

1:06 is not possible. I'm sure it's not, and hi @Pluxtheduck

Hey Furi,

Like I say, haven't driven the cars but it really doesn't matter does it? Its not the real race

Ok. I;m ordering a full review of car specs across the board

@snowgt @Yeratel84 @DK - SYM Civics are revving to 10,000rpm with redline at 9,000. DK 12,000rpm starting at 9,000rpm. Answers please?

All Ford's in the clear in the engine department.

All Hyundai's clear in the engine department.

All Renault's clear in the engine department.

@Holdenhsvgtsr and @raceorama123432 , small difference of 500rpm, please re spec and check cars.

My car is completely to spec, I can upload a picture of all the parts bought if you like. Who had differing parts? @Holdenhsvgtsr did you add that extra part that was added not that long ago, was it a catalytic converter or something?

Also @hsv010 did do a 1:06 as I was following him and did a 1:07.2. I watched the replay back afterwards to see how my pace was and saw he did the fastest lap. It was a hight 1:06.9 but a 1:06 non the less. I saved the replay to take a picture of Furi and his P16 glitch on the grid and deleted the replay after that. I gave hsv a push through the slower sections, he gave me a toe on the straight.

Thanks mate for backing me up 👍

I honestly have no idea Furi. I bought a sports ECU for my Civic, but uninstalled it before entering.

I feel like banging my head off of a wall, it's not as if I'll get any stupider.

Everyone makes errors. No other irregularities found.

Mines is exactly to the same spec as the OP unless something has changed as it hasnt been updated since 31/12

It was obvious really that there wasnt much difference between us really and neither of us were showing signs of being superior in any sections. Maybe GT6 online isn't always right? Or maybe we did what @DK did and removed a part and the revs stayed the same. You can't send cars in GT6 can you?

Nope as Dk appears slower in fact as a result, no penalties or action needed.

I think everyone believes he did a 1:06, I think the debate is over whether the spec and room settings were correct. Since about a second gap on the rest of the field does not seem right.

All room setting where correct if in one of my lobbies - they have not been altered since media night.

There was only 0.4 between me and him. Maybe the room settings or something?
It was before media night
EDIT: Maybe it was some weird glitchy sort of thing like how we went faster in the wet yesterday?

Bear in mind Ford specs were reworked twice. Firstly too OP, then made too slow, new (current) one was a compromise.

That may be, but considering @Yeratel84 and @Ninners, who showed top of the pack pace at Brands and, in Yera's case, top of the pack pace in previous FRL events are apparently lapping a second behind @hsv010 and .7/8 behind you, you'll forgive my skepticism.

For reference @hsv010 was 100% legal at Brands sunday and put the Focus 6th on the grid. So not an issue there. Honestly I think it was just a time with old spec and we read too much into it.
