I remember my 1st session I got 2:12 then the 2nd around 2:10 so I think its a little faster because I am by no means the fastest driver :sly:

I got pole with a 1:07.559 I think, and in R2 I did a 1:07.1xx I seem to recall.

Wow. That means I totally failed to see you from the very beginning. I always thought Joe had pole. I assume you didn't see me either…? We must have driven through each other at some point. Did Joe see us both…? Couldn't check the replay for any evidence again since my PS3 died twice on me trying to open it.

At least race 3 we had a good fight. Great move round the outside going into the chicane, by the way! That should make it into a highlight-reel.

I thought I had pole because it started me at the very front. There would have been an empty space ahead of me on the grid if kartman was there and invisible to me.

Press the xmb button as soon as you start to load the reply will stop it crashing.

I was doing it because the car literally refused to turn, and I let everybody back through afterwards. No positions gained. I see absolutely no issue in it, but if you feel the need to do this then fine. 4 points is way too harsh for something that avoided accidents and didn't benefit or damage anybody's races.

Actually the 2nd time you did it you didn't let rolo back through.

If my car refuses to turn then I'll back out until I can make the corner. Or I brake earlier so I make the corner. Either way I lose time but if my car doesn't turn and someone else's does, then they probably deserve to be ahead of me anyway. Maybe that's just me. My 2 penneth.

I wasn't aware of that, so very sorry rolo. I'm not a cheater, I was just trying to avoid contact that could ruin races.

I don't actually remember this. If it was Race 2 then I couldn't see you on track anyway. Racing when you can only see 11 out of 14 drivers is weird.

It was race 3

Ah alright, well no problems from me. As someone who also runs a race series here though, from what I observed the other night, if you're not gonna make a corner then I don't think taking half a mile of run-off is advised. If running off closer to the track means you eat grass instead then that's gotta be the penalty for missing a corner.

The reason you've probably been penalised so much is because the corners got cut by such a margin.

EDIT: Wow in that first video I really wasn't far enough alongside to make that pass.

If I had continued to turn in then, I would have spun and taken people out. You could see me slow down and move off line in both of those to let people back through, but once again i'm really sorry rolo. Lesson learned then, but I did see a few other people taking that shortcut in avoidance.

Could someone verify about the chicanes on ascari please. Do you use the white line as the edge of track or the inside of the curb? The curb looks to be concrete so does this class as off track? Sorry if this has been covered but there's lots of time to be won/loss here.

HSV heres a tip that will aid you when you run that wide (no defence above fella sorry).
Ease of the throttle if your speed is seen to decrease as you rejoin the track rather than increase your suffer a heap less aggro young sir.;)

As I said, lesson learned. I wouldn't have thought it would be illegal if I gave up the places.

Also race a black car rather than white with blue wheels as the off track trips may be harder to spot cause you blend in more

To be fair, even though he did cut the corner - he didn't make any positions...
In the first video he did; but lost that position in the corner..

Not sure it warrants 4 points.

Send the info (race, lap and person or people involved), to one of the stewards on a PM then...

Had I not DC'd in race 1, I'd have mentioned a bump on @gtpanoz on one of the first laps. I did let him through, mind, but it was crazy, the tyres locked up and smoke was billowing out! You couldn't say I didn't do the best I could to stop...

I did the same as hsv in Race 1 I think. I was alongside Scania and rejoined just in front. I went wider to give him the place back. Turns out I totally lost grip and lost further places.

Honestly with the grip lost by going off the track now and trying to get back going again is a lot harder now. A mistake will cost you a bunch.

Add how damn close the championship is now.

You gained an advantage. Doesn't have to mean you gained places.

The first one I can understand, the pass from rolo was a bit cheeky, not quite enough overlap before the corner. You still could have slowed more to stay on track.

The second one was your mistake. A mistake which would have cost you around a second at least on the drivers ahead. By taking the cut you stayed in touch with the pack up front. You should have either braked to try and stay on track/take as little run off as possible, or coasted along the run-off so that you didn't gain any time.

Anyone help with my question above ^

You must have at least 2 wheels on track at all time. So you can have 2 wheels on the grass, and 2 wheels on the very inside edge of the kerb, and it is legal. The concrete is legal, but where there is no concrete/kerb, then the white line is the edge of the track.

I saw you in all the races, but my connection isn't the greatest, so it was probably my end that messed up.

Race 3 was epic! Definitely the best TOCA race I have had, so close. When it started raining and the water percentage started to rise I got worried, if it had got to 5%, you would have got past in a flash, the BMW started to go towards the end, definitely not a fan of the rain

Could you see me? If snow, rolo and maybe a few other couldn't see me, I wouldn't be too surprised to be missing on your screen as well . It's a bit worrying for me because if I was having connection issues last night, then the next weeks will be hell. I was the only one on the internet in my house last night, for the next few weeks there will be at least 2 connected to it whenever I am racing.

To be honest, if you'd have done a 1:06 I wouldn't have been surprised.

I knew my maximum would've been about 1:07.2xx in the BMW, so I knew a (GT5) D1 Gold-er could probably nudge high 1:06s. 👍

I couldn't get near the 1:07.4 that you did at the start of the day, but as the races went on I just found a few tenths here and there. I lengthened 2nd gear out a lot, I was able to get up to 67 in 2nd, meaning I could use it for T3 and Club exit, that alone gained me 2 tenths. Those times I did have draft for, so take away 2 tenths for that and then you are quicker than me, and if you ever feel like doing one race in this, feel free because this car is so much more fun in the draft . The back end is more predictable, and the torque out of the corners is unreal! On a side note, have you noticed a difference with the handling since 1.03? It seems a lot different to when I first started driving it, faster, but it has a lot more rotation as soon as you come off the brakes...
