I think it's mainly down to the driver with the Focus, Joe didn't seem to lose any pace at all from what I've seen. Probably dirty air.

Anyway BoP is a talking point after this.

By the end of race 2, where I was at the front on my own at the end, I was about 3/4 of a second off of my fastest laps.

Quite normal, given you were on your own (no draft to help you on the straights) and your tyres weren't at their best...
 
Rangey is quick at the end. I was gaining on most of the field at the ends. It's just nearly impossible to pass as as soon as I overtake I'm blown past on the straight again :(

After missing out on yet another couple of races (this time a Megane Trophy series I'm racing with a few portuguese friends), I finally found out my problem related to my choice of DNS for my PS3. I've been using Google's DNS for a while, but after deleting my game data (thinking it would solve the problem) and not being able to re-download the patches, which almost cost my savegame in the process, I was finally able to download the patches after changing to OpenDNS's DNS...

I did a 7.1xx, on the next lap I was 2 tenths up in the first sector and had snow's draft, but I made an error at the last turn and lost 4 tenths. So they are possible, with a tiny bit of water on track, and some draft and about 11 laps worth of fuel gone. But no focus did a 1:06 ;)

To be honest, if you'd have done a 1:06 I wouldn't have been surprised.

I knew my maximum would've been about 1:07.2xx in the BMW, so I knew a (GT5) D1 Gold-er could probably nudge high 1:06s. 👍

Finalising standings now. Update on license pts situation.

@hsv010 4 pts on your license. Added to 2 you received at Brands and you have 6 overall, so you've automatically taken a 5 pt penalty. Got a very lengthy report from a steward about your antics and video evidence. If ya going to cut the track, at least lift off and allow people in. At this rate you won't last after next week, and i'm sure you don't want that.
 
Race 3 for me was awful. Went from 3rd to 12th after I took damage from orama's rangey (Was an accident of course)

HSV receives 5 point deduction.

The new Ford RPM-Vulpus(OMM) driver has recieved 4 penalty points during his debut for RPM at Silverstone. He recieved 2 points at Brands Hatch while running in the Juta-Blendini camp. This makes a grand total of 6 which triggers a 5 point deduction. 10 points will means a 10 point deduction and possible suspension.

Yes. I was really upset with myself when that happened. I tried to let you back past but was then rear ended by someone else :(
 
I've got to hope @gokartman78 has his usual connection or commitment issues otherwise it's going to be his indy championship as I don't have the pace to keep with him
