Well, someone's suddenly got defensive... :sly:

Race 1 was a battle with the Ford's at the back

Race 2 I outdragged @Furinkazen at the start, built up a gap then just about held @DrifterJoe at the end to score my 2nd TOCA victory

Race 3 was hanging at the back before overtaking the gaggle of cars then proceeded to catch the struggling @Ninners and Carboy before the end in the wet conditions so took home 7th.

Independents wise I think I extend my lead at the top by a few points so with 9 rounds to go it's mine to lose

7 naughty drivers got penalties. Will NOT be publicising yet however, in case any more issues are reported.

I got swamped in turn 1 at the start of every race. :banghead:

^^ That kid looks way too happy about it.. When it was me in that situation as a kid - it was not a laughing matter.. Although it never happened very much!

Not sure why I bothered an attempt return tonight, have fun for the next few seasons.....

Race 2 I probably got a penalty.
I think it would be quicker to list the people not getting penalties.

I think the collision indecator thing isnt very good hear as some people can take very wide entries to the corners and others very tight so you dont know they are there untill you are in the corner then its too late.

Strangest day in ToCA history perhaps. Words can't explain it.

Let me have a go:
Nürburgring is a peculiar track insofar as it doesn't really reward cornering speed in traffic. It's sort of a stop-and-go track, although it doesn't feel like it. That's why some people that were fast on a single lap had trouble in the races, because their cars were fast on the wrong part of the track. I, for instance, found it very hard to get past almost all cars, because most others are faster down the straight. At the same time I had to queue behind them in the corners, once I caught up with someone. The Range Rover is also quite op'ed now as particularly race one showed. AMD went off twice while in the lead, fell back behind gkm & me, and easily passed us again like it was nothing. If he hadn't gone off, he probably would have won by at least 10 seconds. The RR has torque and grip coming out of the turns, it's not funny anymore. And people were saying the Honda was op'ed.

I seemed to struggle in turns 6 & 7 leading on the back straight as the fords were gaining a bit of time on me during race 1

Snow. Could it also explain a peculiar night for you? :)

I wouldn't go that far!! I've been working on the brakes and gearbox set up, there was still several cars pulling away in the straight, particularly the Ford's and race's Honda left me for dead.

The Rangey has fantastic engine braking though when mean't most of my time was made up under brakes then on the exit of the corners.

I think we also managed 2 laps completely side by side
