I'll assume you guys know the difference between a divebomb and getting a run on the inside?

Yes, but I'm warning you I get really nervous when I race online, and usually my hands shake and spaz out uncontrollably. But I'll make sure to steer clear of everyone, and least for my first couple of races. I'm still learning to
be an acceptably respectful driver, but don't think I don't know how to run a race without hitting the AI.

You're new as well. Track time is your friend.

Did 2 laps, got lost in the desert, ragequit :banghead:
Yes, it took me 3 laps before the dessert (<=spelt like that because it pretty much is driving though the trickle sponge I had yesterday) got me at the final turn. Only went off three times. It was all at the final turn when I was trying different braking points. I think playing it safe if the best way to survive.

I agree with that, but what I fear is that people will be taking that final corner at all different speeds which is just a perfect recipe for rear-ending :nervous:

At the media night, it was quite clear that around half of the field had no idea as to the correct line through there, so it was a big mess of brake, turn in a bit, brake, turn in a bit...

Then there's also the curb where you can get really far on two wheels and lose it

Well, expect to see a lot of Hyundai's and Nissan's spinning into the pit entry

Not happening. The Hyundai is actually one of the best in the high speed corners and doesn't brake traction unless you put too much lock in. It was a bit faster than Joe's Focus during Media Day and no doubt should be faster with it's power boost.

But that curb is deadly for RWD's if you get on two wheels

The media night race was interesting. I pulled out a huge lead, the others seemed to understeer or spin, and then gradually the Honda's were the only ones who closed in on me.

Was it testing or media night? Anyway I was leading but made a few errors that allowed Joe to close in but lost the rear on the inside and got dirty tyres. I made up about 1.5 second to finish just a second behind Joe. I must say I was pushing like hell and the car was epic!

Need a good weekend since I will be missing Silverstone as I will be returning to my endurance events. Just remember my events are every 2 weeks so I will alternate between races. BHGP is a good track for the Hyundai and it was fastest in testing there some time ago.

I'm not sure if I'll race the Mazda in 11CA after all. I'm starting to really like my Peugeot (With LSD :D) so if that stays on for next season I may keep, and possibly even use the same chassis. Although I'll have to test the Mazda first...

I'll most likely be working with Renault for the next Season - saying we've got some pretty good results this Season!
Also, if that Mazda is anything like the STCC Audi S4; then it'll be a pretty weird car to drive!

This season has turned out to be my "Return" and "What if...?" season. Hopefully can get another podium at Willow so that I will have three to my name :)

I've overall pulled 5 Podiums together this Season... More podiums than I got in BTCC - but in BTCC, I got 2 wins! :P

Well I got one podium in R1 at Nurb, and my other one was in S1 at Cape ring inside in only my second race :p

Considering how crap the Hyundai turned out to be I'm pretty happy with 6th in the standings.

My end of season run starts now... let's get that Indy title!

My climb back up starts now. I knew I was better than 11th, the Range Rover just wasnt. Well, it wasnt until it was boosted and now its winning races ;) But you know, top 6 is the aim

Probelm with the last turn is there are no marker points. Most tracks you can say "Oh it's that line there, or two car lengths before the kerb here". At Willow it was "where the hell am I?".

And the quicksand now opposite

Quit getting so optimistic :p
