STEWARDING UPDATE:

In light of criticism of the ToCA license points system, a new system is being implemented with immediate effect which will use time penalties and a "three strikes and you're out (penalised)" system.

Is 4 balls a walk?

Are the standings ready yet?

Furi will kill you with all these questions.

Soon.

Well, it's part of as was expected in his name...

Clio standings are coming soon too. I can feel it.

Guys, calm down. You'll get it in a future update, maybe *Laughs*

You'll get it before next round. I've just come home. Not going to be doing ToCA pts at this time of night,

So, I park the Vauxhall Combo up this evening and realize that it's not been washed in over a year... And is most likely dirtier than this...

No wonder I get weird looks from the OCD Neighbor!

So, um, Done yet, Furi? :dopey:

MID SEASON REVIEW:

So it has been a slightly truncated, and eventful opening 3 weeks to the ToCA season. It's the final aero-less, tuning-less season as well, and plenty of stories have emerged.

Out front somehow is the Renault of @Scaniabebe , after a development season the Renault has hit its stride and leads the standings on 109 points. @snowgt is second on 104 having shown blistering pace, although at Willow the Nissan became a target board for opposition drivers. @Ninners and @Andil have 103 and 97 respectively, but the scary fact is they have both missed the season opener. The title will surely come down to one of these two at this rate, however Nin's CORE WEC programme may get in the way. Defending champion @DrifterJoe has had a poor start by his standards, 2 podiums at Brands his best results as getting caught in accidents has severely impacted his campaign.

@Roflwaffle brings the Honda Civic's ToCA swansong to 6th currently, ever improving though perhaps getting caught up in too many incidents. @Furinkazen had an encouraging start to the season and sits 7th. @Siggers is the second factory Civic and hasn't been able to quite match a opening race 2nd place since. @Yeratel84 is struggling. 1 win is perhaps his only high point - contact in the opening lap at Willow put the car out the whole weekend. @Holdenhsvgtsr has proven the speed of the Alfa GT but missed Willow. @gokartman78 did a couple events before withdrawing the Scuderia Venom Lexus and @LancerEvo7 has rounded out the top 12 with his RPM-ECM Ford Focus.

Out of the points cutoff includes @chrisjohnson93 (however he is Jack Sears leader) who has struggled to get speed out the Nissan. @hsv has spent a lot of the time pointing the wrong way in the Toyota 86GT whilst @DK has struggled to gain a rythmn. Mazda's return to ToCA has been a tortuous one with @gtpanoz struggling significantly with the car... interesting to note Mazda have been spotted already testing there new spec car for T12, a sign perhaps they are resigned to T11 being a lost cause? @rolo912011 put a steady run in at Silverstone in another Honda.

@raceorama123432 joined the series in a third Renault Megane at Willow and looks set for the rest of the season. Also appearing at Willow was @rustyMercedes in an independent Mazda. @R0ssingt0n and @RedPartyhat both appeared as cover for RPM at Brands and may have 1 or 2 more outings before season is done. @CAMikaze has struggled and not even qualified a Mazda, and other non qualifiers this season include @RyanRacer (Nissan), @sparkytooth (Renault) and @adam46 (Toyota). @MatheusBond appears to have found sponsorship to ensure his crash at Brands was not his only ToCA action of the season.

Hyundai's ToCA intentions remain unknown. @Turbo_snail , @nascarfan1400 , and @ranhammerR34 have yet to even arrive at a track, and the same can be said for @Michelin 's Nissan, though we did see that car at pre season testing.

This weekend it's night racing at Apricot Hill, with 5 Qualifying spots open, and battle is set to rejoin. After this season as well, some changes are due. It appears that the 4 car super teams of the past few seasons may be disappeared and there may be a significant format change due for late summers ToCA12.

See you all at ACR on saturday!

@Ninners and @Andil have 103 and 97 respectively, but the scary fact is they have both missed the season opener. The title will surely come down to one of these two at this rate, however Nin's CORE WEC programme may get in the way.

Anyway hoping we can get back to reality and see the Renaults in the midfield like last season :p
