Is it regarding Saturday's results? or the future of TOCA and FRL

Furi taking his belt off...
*starts beating people unmercifully*

Could only do a 33.6 with the Nissan in a lucky lap... If I turn up on Saturday I believe I'm not going to qualify again...

Actually, @Akmuq is being excluded from all previous ToCA seasons for excessive banter.
If you look at my avatar I think you'll find that it's not banter.

I find it hard to believe.

Working on BoP adjustments.

Honda's Civic is known to be leaving end of season. Another car is. However BMW are confirmed back and another FWD is coming in.

Is it the (obviously very different) 2015 Ford Focus?

Did a 29.9 in pre-season (Snow did the same as well), but after 2 laps my best was 31.4 (too soon to tell obviously how much have I lost after updates)...

Did a low 2:30 after 5 laps. I'm not entirely sure what the update did, but the effects seem to be between 0.5-1.0s depending on track/car-combination. I also think that some of what people blame the update for is a placebo-effect. I didn't notice any significant changes in how the cars stacked up against each other at Apricot Hill, so I would suggest not making any premature changes to the BoP.

Car review (from everything i've gathered) for post-1.09 toe change:

  • Ford - Was a lot better than last season, rear toe has dragged it into the understeer trap.
  • Nissan - The increases have made it a tad more stable, and a tad more understeery. Not terrible.
  • Honda - Still appears to be decent all round. Might need a bit of work to chuck it into corners.
  • Lexus - Appears to have gone from slidey to nicely slidey/understeery/hooked up.
  • Alfa - Only seen it flying off/in clouds of smoke. Can't deduce much from that. I'd presume it's hard work though.
  • Renault - Straight line rocket, cornering dud. Just emphasised its worst quality.
  • Toyota - Lost all of it's cornering ability, so it's sucky everywhere now. More prone to snapping as well.
  • Mazda - Let's not go there.

There definitely needs to be some changes. I remember Math saying that Lexus was quicker after the update...

It used to be very drifty, but now it's hooked up.

I agree with you about the Honda, not as fun to drive anymore as you can't just chuck it around in the corners :grumpy:

You can't lighten the Ford anymore either so we either have to give it a boost or change the toe or something.

End the season early so Ford don't lose anymore ground :sly:

Best chance for a win for me is at Nurb as its very much a Honda track.

Best chance to gain points is at Silverstone where Moleman won't be here :sly:

I drove the Ford before quali at Apricot Hill - it's not my regular car, I don't know how to drive it quickly properly, but I got it to within 0.2 of my fastest Reno lap within 5 laps. It's not that slow and it drives alright, just grow a pair! :sly:

Not everyone is a real racing driver  :p

But it's crap compared to how it was before.
:)

I said my lap times were quicker, though only by 0.2, and the car was indeed more stable. It felt like I was driving a front-drive at T8.

And @Ninners, why are you using the Bacon Racing logo as avatar?

It makes a large difference when everyone else is slower by 0.5...

I like it, plus Stiggy gave it to me.
