How about Toca practice? :sly:

Well, looks like I'm in the upper 2.31s for this week. I was doing 2.29s with adjustable suspension. Hyundai drives pretty good. Down in a straight line but decent mechanical grip

That Mazda looks like it's got a barrel full of bricks in the trunk keeping it from doing much

I ran some laps earlier in each car. All but 2 are covered by 0.7 of a second, which is good considering the circuit's length. The exceptions are the Mazda and the Lexus. The Mazda was a further 0.7 off the pace of the next slowest car and understeering badly, and the Lexus was 0.9 faster than the second fastest car. I can run mid to high 2:29 laps in the Lexus, and low 2:32 laps in the Mazda.

So from the fastest car to the slowest car theirs almost 3 seconds difference :odd: and none of these cars make 500pp and there on racing hard tyres .

Quite clearly the result will fluctuate depending the skill level of the tester.

I'm not in the series but I'll run some laps I'm just interested how close the cars are with there performance and handling.

Goodbye.

Lexus is fast but hard to control, especially in racing conditions, but Spa is fairly forgiving to it compared to other tracks on the calendar. The Mazda was fine before the update, but now has bad understeer which I don't think could be fixed without changing the suspension, as the LSD settings seem fine.

You guys may want to think about making some adjustments on the cars specs cause almost 3 seconds at this pp on these tyres is way to much difference.

Plus the update has effected cars a lot you get more understeer now but also more grip.

This has all been discussed prior to your spamming.

The difference, of course, being that you're not doing ToCA.

hsv

I know but the real difference is almost 3 seconds actually on a track that takes less then 2 minutes 30 seconds. if I test these cars and I get similar result I wouldn't want race in TOCA the issue is you use 20 testers at different skill levels for testing the cars instead of one person who actually knows what there doing or testers that are exactly the same skill level.

Look at the fact your own racers are getting big differences in there times with the cars now some may be slower then others but in general everyone is getting that 2.5 to 3 second gab from fastest car to slowest car this is fair too much difference.

When I tuned the cars back for the WGT1 series I tuned 8 cars from 585pp to 604pp I tuned them then gave them to some of the guys we all got within 4 tenth's at the very most no matter what the track there were 8 of us that were around the same pace.

How do you not get that we understand 1.09 has thrown everything off?

Is there a book we can read on your expertise or are you self made?

IWIN do you like Lego sir? You see i love Lego and still have some in the loft and was wondering if you could teach me how to build one of those massive ego things?💡 If not guess i'll buy your book as well.

I don't wan't to interfere too much in this conversation, but honestly, I think that GTP IWIN is right (especially when I read this post).
I've not read all pages back so i'm not sure why you guys are so harsh with him. And remember: this is not cause someone doesn't race in a series that he doesn't have the right to post on the thread. Forums are public, and I guess it's often productive to listen / learn from our fellow members.

Go to page 137 and read his posts from there onwards. That gives to a taste of why we're being harsh on him :)

This is why:
Bahaha your funny oh by the way you balance your cars really lol.
Okay you've had 11 seasons in this and the i'v tuned and tested all your cars and I can say I on some tracks there is over 1.5 seconds difference in lap time at this low pp that massive I can get top 50 times in tt but hey what do I know i'm just a dirty racer right you know Furi you would be surprised how much I know and you don't understand how to balance cars and too be honest the only reason you don't want me in cause i'm too quick you just need some poor excuse cause your a coward.
I love how much you bs I dare you to race me coward and do it in front of all these guys id like to kick your a** and we will who is really bsing but you won't cause your coward and you know I'll make you a laughing stock in front of all the guys in here.
This is gtp not my business so I don't about my grammar.
Keep talking if your not going to race me so I can kick your a** then stop talking when your ready to race me message me instead of being a coward cause you know I'm right but once again you won't lol pathetic.

I can keep going, but you get the idea.

He has a legitimate point. The cars are unbalanced as they are following the recent update. What he doesn't seem to accept is that they are being tested and BoP updates will almost certainly be coming.

Let's be honest, there's only two cars that need tweaking. The rest are covered by next to nothing. 0.7 isn't much. And the issue was due to the update, not Furi's speccing. There wasnt a 3 second gap prior to the update.

They're being harsh on him because they're noob cowards

@Litchi i'm all for testing feedback, but when that racer comes in, insults half the grid and barely keeps himself on right side of the AUP, and his only race appearance was him pitting Sam (gokartman) in a Q race for no reason, before going on mass rants against everyone, you tend to not take notice. Update 1.09 has thrown things off balance a little. Lexus sure as hell was not as quick pre update (no offense @MatheusBond , but you barely made it into Brands Hatch and at Apricot Hill you had top 8 pace all of a sudden), and Mazda was already a bit tardy.

Also nice of a selective member on here to bring 3 seconds up when that is 1: Result of the update, and 2: 2 cars, everything else still well BoP'd. Ideal time to bring up I suppose that BoP wise, last night, @Spurgy 777 @paulmac2k9 managed to get around half of next seasons grid specced to within 0.1-0.2 of a second. But @FordMKIVJ5 , you wouldn't know as you're differing pace right ;)

I'm sure it's clever, but I have no idea what that last sentence means...

Hint hint, you are one of 20 different pace test drivers :p

By the way, mind if I switch for the toyota? I feel more cumfortable with the handling of this car actually. I feel the Hyundai too understeery.
