Utterly terrifying.

I got pelted off so many times tonight, it was insane.

@Holdenhsvgtsr deserves 1 championship point for being hugely entertaining to watch all night.

The Honda's started to kill each other on the last lap of R3, gifting me 7th. If i'm correct, that's my highest placing of the season.

Apologies to @cnd01 for one lap (forgot when it happened), but a big yellow Renault piled into the back of me at hyperspeed. Also, mega apology to @chrisjohnson93, he had a big lag spike and it meant one tiny rub spun him into the wall :indiff:

In general, there just seemed to be a lot of people pulling slide jobs to get past.

Sorry to HSV on lap 1 race 3. There are some red Hondas that have some splanin to do
Apology accepted.

Absolutely awful tonight, had no pace at all and didn't help that I qualified around 4.5 secs off the pace, then follow it up with getting a grand total of 6 points all night which basically puts me into pre qualification next week and puts a massive dent in my 3rd independent championship

Number of factors that destroyed my third race:

  • Spun out on T1, due to a trainwreck. Kind of set myself up, since I had the brilliant idea of diving down everybody's inside.
  • Then after a screw up on Blanchimont while trying to catch @Furinkazen, @Holdenhsvgtsr shunted me at the last chicane after outbraking it. In retrospect, I shouldn't have tried to defend my position.
  • My mother had the brilliant idea of calling me in the middle of the race.
  • @Holdenhsvgtsr misjudged my Lexusexy®'s handling and tapped me on the last lap.
I want to say other words, but this site has to be "clean" and stuff. I'd like to end with this, to celebrate my 3rd place on R2.

hsv
@MatheusBond, I felt so damn lucky to avoid you in R1. Bad luck though buddy.

Approval.
I felt a hit on my side actually. Good to know nothing happened. Also forgot to mention that @Yeratel84 pulled a reverse Apricot Hill on R2. Gutted me to see that on my mirror. (But not that much.)

Used the same line behind you at Paul Frere, but unlike on penultimate lap the car suddenly understeered into the gravel on the outside...

Don't think it could've been closer. Millimetres. It was like a wisp of a scrape. I was completely braced for a big impact.

Also, my driving was a bit scruffy tonight (in response to getting shoved off), so sorry to anyone I rubbed or nudged a bit too much.

Monza 80's next season :)

The Tank car would have been interesting.

i take the blame for that i spent too long working out what side you would take if you would stay to the outside or move to the inside to defend your position by the time i worked out what i was going to do i had left my braking far to late.

apologes

Wow, for once I'm not the most bashy Honda driver.

Judging to what I've heard, I've come to a conclusion...

The person driving the Red Honda was Pastor Maldonado.
That's very offensive to Maldonado.

No but that was a 🤬 silly bit from you, I saw it in my rear view...

My races today... Race 1 was just trying to keep up with Nin and mostly failing, burned up my tyres trying to keep in the tow and just about kept Snow behind to take 2nd.

Should have won Race 2 but got caught up unluckily with another car at turn 1 and it allowed Nin to catch up all the time I'd gained on him earlier in the race. Tried as hard as I could to keep him behind but again, tyres were gone, it was a no-hoper, 2nd again.

Race 3 was so so hard again, the Renault is SO bad from Les Combes all the way until the last quick stretch. Just about managed to keep up with Nin through the traffic and fortunately for me he made a mistake on the penultimate lap, otherwise he'd have probably been on for a treble! 2nd again, great win by Yera, was well defended and well thought out.

Good points considering I realistically couldn't keep touch with Nin's pace, especially not over a race distance. Sorry for any bumps and bashes, nothing intentional at any stage and understeering more often than not!

For anyone wanting to relive lap 1 of race 3 :nervous:

Just watched race 3 in full @MatheusBond how on earth can you race that thing! There was one time going into blanchimont it just seemed to spear you into the wall

My only apology goes to R1 Lap 1, when I nearly lost it into Les Combes, braked a tad late and just found a gap that turned into a slightly risky but worthy overtake.

It races fine most of the time, just gotta be careful to not put it in the green astroturf bits.

I've finally surpassed Furi's win total. :)

Good Lord Red Hondas
