I was thinking if we could have BTCC tyre rules with each driver having to run RMs for 1 of the 3 races

Certainly been considered. Keeping track would be a problem however.

I was thinking about declaring them via PM or on thread before qualifying. Anyway do whatever you want, ain't my call.

Success ballast has also been considered for the future.

GT300 does around 2:06. :scared:

Tire type barely affects our lap times, strangely. It is typically .4 of a second.

More power and less LSDs means a bigger disparity in tire type lap time difference.

If you guys had mediums, you could put your power down better, which is where our cars gain the time. :)

I found it was worth 1.3 seconds in the BMW, the car is more balanced on the mediums and has more understeer which helps it. I didn't like the hards, turn 7 in race 1 showed that :p

I just took a T12 car around in 2:08..... :scared:
It's not that fast, my fastest lap from last season was a 2:08.2

BMW was totally OP though, you won by what 19 seconds?

It wasn't really that OP, i started from pole in race one and race 3, never scored the most points as it was horrible in traffic. It was 18 and I had time to type a message ;)

If it was so OP, why the hell did no-one else pick it?
He scored 0 points. First time ever.

Spurgy, though... :p
He's on about the 120 d from last season (i used it for 3 rounds) :p

Because no one else could handle it's terrible sideways handling. But when driven properly it was class of the field by far.

That doesn't make it OP, OP would be winning every single race with ease and having it easy. It was the hardest car to drive, and rewarded that the most. I'm pretty sure if I had driven it at a comfortable pace to not spin it would have been slower than the other cars.

People struggled with the RWD due to it's instability with lack of tuning. Allowing tuning back would certainly even up the playing field...

Why are you even talking?

Because it's a standard car and has no place in ToCA.

Nothing wrong with standards.. unless it's the Audi S3
