The 43 Armada Sails for the Final Time
August 15, 2014:
And so we did.
The 43 Armada became a legitimate team in ToCA12, and despite only existing for half the season, we still beat Humberside (hahaha @Scaniabebe you've been mentioned)
We kept going, previewing ECM's new colors, Papaya Orange and Berlina Black, for the rest of the ToCA12 season. But it didn't end there.
We still kept going...
...through necessity...
(lol Furi's 8 laps down what a lamp)
...when it didn't make sense...
...and even by accident!
Sometimes we'd switch it up...
...but no matter what, we were always an Armada. And unlike the Spanish Armada, we rarely got utterly trashed by England's finest. Usually we were the ones doing the trashing. Like in WSC IX, wherethe Ferrari was OP as balls the turbo regs suited our driving styles the best, and Rob became known as FRL's #2 driver. We took all but 19 points that season. Something that we started as a complete joke turned into a race winning outfit. I didn't imagine that would ever happen when I sent that PM, I figured that we'd either get bored of it after a race, or Furi wouldn't let us do it anymore, being the lamp he is.
But all good things must come to an end.
Our final liveries are also our first. I will be running the original ECM scheme that I debuted with in ToCA 7. While I absolutely hated the style of racing, there was something that kept drawing me back, and that was the people. Everyone showed up to race on a weekly basis, and it was usually a :censored:show tbh, but it was all in fun. And that was attractive. I'm glad I stuck with it.
Rob is running the white and black of O'Ramaspeed, his team that debuted sometime before I did. I think. I didn't get any thoughts from him because I didn't really plan this post out at all, so we'll just assume he has a few nice things to say about FRL, GT, and life in general.
Speaking of FRL...
@banter you've been mentioned.
Rob, you may be a #2 driver, but you've been a #1 friend over this past year. Thanks for everything.
Go get that championship.

This XJ13's purple colour is from XJR-9's colour? I think that it may be from a GT Flourescent DLC that you won from the seasonal Events or then it could be from a Matte Purple.
