I know it is a bit late to propose an alteration to the part tier system, but I feel that it is needed in order to increase variety in competition. As I observed, you have to build on a car of at least 380pp stock to present a threat. This eliminates a good portion of cars that are eligible for C class (i.e, Japanese classic cars). This also carries into B and A classes, cars that are just above the displacement prerequisites of C but don't possess the performance to hold their own their own under the current tuning regulations. To elaborate, cars such as the FTO and Eclipse need substantial modification to be just level with cars sitting firmly within the B class range such as the S2000 and RX-8. On another note, what if you wanted to compete in B class with a C level car? If you are starting out, you got slim chances of being on the list and acquire parts that would make your ride adequate. On a whole, I feel that the tier system is good, but need some alterations to which parts go where. Here are my thoughts...

-Yes. I renamed the tiers. More RPG like.

-I like the idea of special parts being available after certain conditions have been met, but the parts available in Gt6 are so few. If performance parts were subcategorized to a greater extent like they were in gt3-prior, special parts would be a viable plan.

-I hope I did not rant to much. All I aim to do is make the system more balanced. (Waiting to catch flak...)

I've been away from my PS3 all weekend. When I get home later tonight, I'll enter all the battle results and the first Top 10 list will go live for Week 2.

Before making any drastic changes, let's see how the rest of the preseason plays out once the tiered parts are available.

Although you're right about the variety of competition available.
 
I just arrived to my home not too long ago. I'll be uploading all the battle data today and will have a leaderboard and the Top 10 List live by tonight.

I'll also be online later in the day on GT6 to discuss the proposed changes to the parts list to allow for a more varied field of competitive vehicles.

Let's take this a day at a time and see how it all works. So far.
Should we have a second pre-season after this week to test out the updates to the parts list?
