Dude, is that even a real car? I don't think I've ever heard about it. But really wrong section, and this thread is like a sphere: pointless.

FT-86: 86GT concept car. Also had a "FT-86 II" in Spec 2 (?) update. In Toyota dealership along with Sports-G version.
FRS: Scion version of 86GT (not the FT-86) - not in GT5.

Unless my sarcasm detector is broken (and its late so it probably is), you guys really need to brush up on GT5's cars...

And yes, I drive them all once in a while - one of my favorite low-power, low-cost sports cars besides the Evo and Imprezza WRX.

Sometimes I take it out for a nice joyride on a custom Eifel circuit -- but really, my favorite part is coming up with inappropriate names for the tracks.

Why are you guys such liars.
Nobody's lying...?

FR-S is an 86GT with Scion badges - same with the BR-Z. Neither the BR-Z or FR-S are in GT5, just the 86GT and the three concepts: the FT-86, FT-86 II, and FT-86 G-Sports.

and uh...that's an 86GT as proven wrong by McClaren, not a Ft-86 as I was thinking (and yes, I feel like an idiot).

McClaren posted a picture of the FT-86, not the 86GT. Google the FT-86 and 86GT, you'll easily notice the difference between the two.

Um, that's my Toyota 86. I don't have an FT in that color in my garage. Also, to those with a trained eye, you may notice that it says 86 on the license plate. The FT says FT Concept on it. If my photo were an FT, it'd clearly say so.

Here's the first Concept, posted on mygranturismo.net.

And the Concept II, as posted in a thread on GTPlanet.

Awesome photos SlipZtrEm 👍👍👍

One of each. :)
Concept II

Now, I'm not a professional photographer, but I don't need Google to see the difference. I'm also not an optometrist, so I can't tell why you don't.

I'm not exactly sure why you felt that I was giving false information, or trying to mislead you in any way. To prevent future misunderstandings, I highly recommend doing thorough research, using each of the resources available to you. Some of my favorites include Google and the Search Tool. I'd also like to assure you, and others on this board, that I harbor no ill-will toward
anyone, and don't intentionally post misleading information. True, I have been corrected before, but each time humbly so and better off for it.

While we're comparing, here's a couple of photos from my local Scion dealership.

The BRZ has different interior options and suspension settings. Something about springs and dampers. That can be googled as well, but nothing that can't already be replicated in the game. Most testers hardly noticed a difference.

:grumpy: Didn't notice the license plate...I feel like an idiot.

Ok, I'll shut up now. :scared:

Hey, can i just ask why Scion has a car so similar? I know Subi worked with Toyota with the 86, engine i think, but what involvement did Scion have? Thanks.
