After the success of the Z06 vs Skyline challenge and the sugestion of Risingson77 for a challenge with an Integra in I bring you FTO VS INTEGRA. This is open to the Honda Integra and Mitsubishi FTO GPX in arcade mode without TCS or ASM and will be run over the next three weeks. Obviosly no false times and try and get the laps to be clean, we don't want to much lawnmowing:D

1ST RACE- APRICOT HILL 3 LAPS NORMAL DIFFICULTY

Please email or PM me your 3 lap times, total time and car as:

The points system will be the same as the GT3 series races:

1st- 10 points
2nd- 6 points
3rd- 4 points
4th- 3 points
5th- 2 points

BTW, Hard difficulty is five laps...

Heys guy's, count me in. :D Do we select a car now or can we run with both and choose the best at the deadline? Plus when we've selected our car do we stick with it from then on - I quite like the idea of that.

Let's get some challenges and slanging matches going - I say pick a car a run with it for all the races. 😈
 
Lets make it interesting, you have to choose one at the start and stick with it for the whole race series. I'm going for the Integra if any of you care :D

I'm going to have to ask you guys to keep the discussion about the cars to a minimum. I believe this is for posting times and describing how your race went.

If everyone sends me what car they are going to use then I can start to sort some sort of recording method. BTW, I take it you mean the main challenges forum Talentless

I'll be using the FTO, eventhough I think the Integra is better. I'll try to get started soon.
 
I'm going to use the Integra, even though I think I'm going to get my behind handed to me by you guys :D
 
Ran the course yesterday, here are my first times:

Should be able to shave a few more seconds off that though.

You should still run it if you want to. This seems to be a just-for-fun series; besides, I bet you'll beat my time. I usually chase in the last position--hence my name! :p

Congrats, Voltron! How in God's Green Earth did you get those times? I didn't think that I had any room for improvment on my times! :eek:
 
Well, rather like Fury says, second is good! I launched in second to get a good start, and utilized third gear drifting to maximize power outputs around corners and uphill... also, used the two wheel rule (two side wheels were touching dirt) to come out of the final s-curve at about 68-70. Oh, and the I used the Silver Metallic one :D
I did run this race about 20 times, however, and I feel there is more room for improvement! But this being a friendly comp. maybe I spent too much time on it as it is?

Oh well, it was very fun... what are your thoughts risingson?
 
Hm...well, I launch in first...it's easy to bog an ITR. Guess I'll try second gear launches.

Secondly, I didn't drift anywhere...I usually get my best times maintaining a clean racing line...dunno, something else to try. Of course, I always choose racing suspension, do you choose drift?

I only ran the race like 10 times, than I had to give up before my right hand went into spasms. :eek:

Oh yeah, I didn't cut any corners, either. :p
