Fun cars to drift with

Obviously the usual cars ( S14, AE86 Trueno ) are going to be some of the first choices to run as drift cars...what about the other cars in the game?

I was suprised by the G4 Ginetta when I played with it in Arcade mode. That tiny little car has suprising power and could be a neat play toy in the drift arena.

Any other odd ball cars in the game that look like they'll have potential?

Mind you, I'm far from a drift god ( I'm lucky if I can just make a solid turn period :) ) , but I'm having fun learning.

and ive been try'n to get the right settings for the 1990 Lotus Carlton but im use'n a dual shock so its a bit unstable to drift anything..... i just cant get used to the stick for gas and brake :/ havent played since GT2 and i had a wheel back then


to that post im play'n around with my volvo as i type lol .... man it was so easy to drift back in GT2 ... i was just mess'n around i had no clue i was drifting lol
 
g4, cappuccino, tacoma, levin, and the caterham are all really fun.

i'm working on my delta HF integrale, but i'm planning on that being fun too.

just got finished with the FPV F6 Typhoon .... this is actually a nice car for drifting even without turbo ....just some basic engine mods


man i wish ford sold FPV cars here in maine where i live

You mean even without upgraded turbo, as it has a turbo out of the factory.
 
yep, just as i thought.....the HF integrale is a friggin BLAST to drift!

GOOD GOD man!! you should go on arcade, then choose deep forest normal, then try to drift with the MR2, 1st gen, or second doesnt matter. remember to equip your Economy tires.. then Viola! there you have it! its really fun to drift with MR cars... now im wishing i should have bought that 2nd gen MR2 aside from my AE83 :( but oh well i have a drifting trueno, and a suped up Supra which will soon be turned into a drifting car as well! 👍
 
yeah, i have an mr2 in GT mode.

in drift bible, the mr2 featured was completely stock. just throw on a sports exhaust, and you'll have the same amount of hp too.

I'll try with a supra later. I've seen some real drift videos and I seen the JUN Supra drifts really nice. Man you gotta love it.
 
Try not to laugh, but my favorite is a car that many people underestimate; the Daihatsu Storia X4. Set up properly, you can either grip like a go-kart or slide like Bunta. I can drift it easier and better than my Trueno.
 
Any of the trucks, but the Ram is my favorite.
 
All of you, try some german cars please, I dunno if they're still fun to drift, like the CLK600 wich I'm drifting now in GT3, and also the BMW's were pretty easy and fun, are they still fun?? Someone please test them out?? Thanks
