i have 3 favorites...
1970 nissan hardtop skyline (hakasuka GTR)
19xx 2002 turbo BMW
and the BMW M5
alll stock
all with road or racing-hard tires

my favs are the imprezas. since im a 4wd specialist, imprezas are my faav, as well as evos and skylines. i also find the station wagons fun to drift with as well!

The Lancer Evo VI RS T.M.E. is my favorite drift machine right now.
A weird one for rallys would be the '70 Dodge Charger R/T done in orange I use to race around on Cathedral Rocks. Can make it around the track without getting any 5 second penalties or smacking off the walls, but can't pull off any times comparable to an actual AWD Rally car. Still though, watching the replays always bring me back to watching the Dukes of Hazzard. lol 👍

hmm......

At the moment I drift:
Toyota Tacoma
Holden Commodore SS
Lexus SC300
BP Falken FC3S RX-7
Blitz R34
BMW Z4
DR30
R31 GTS-R
R32 GT25 Type-S
R32 GTS-t Type M
and many more.....

Working on my TSO20 GT1 currently

lol i like holding my handbrake on in my turbocharged and nossed sirion. its always fun to drive specially when i beat my mate in his fully modded vette.

This is is for me the no1. drift car! Totally stock with N1 tyres and no strings attatched!

BMW 330i
Ruf RGT
Mazda Miata NR-A
Protomotors Spirra

Add N2 (front) N1 (rear) and set out speed drifting (my personal style) on the 'Ring.

I'm not a big fan of AWD drifting...but has anyone worked a ZZII into a drifter?

I know there has to be potential there, Mid Engine, light, big horsepower, measureable Torque...

Lotus Carlton
BMW M3 GTR road car
BMW 2002
Ginetta G4
Merc SL65
Vanquish

Although I spend most of my time driving the ring you still need a car that goes sideways.

How do you get the top down?

Only the OEM cars will go convertible when you drive in photomode or time trial. So any basic Honda S2000 (Type-V or not) will be topless. Cars like the Mugen and Amuse S2000's won't...

Most people like to drift f/r cars... you cant beat the evo 5 gsr with no driving aids, tuned up with a standard wing,it looks great on the replays comming round sideways :sly:

Lotus Europa and Alpine A310.
Both kinda underpowered, but they slide wonderfully on momentum. Particularly the Alpine, it took me half an hour to learn how to drive that car without spinning out every second turn.

Yup!
If only the top came down on the tuner S2000s,
Spoon and Amuse topless would be too sexy and show Ky's favoritism to the S2000 ha ha 👍 👍 👍

"K. Yamauchi owns a S2000"

I was always under the impression the Mugen, SPOON, and Amuse versions in GT4 were all hard-tops. Never really took a good look at em.

The S2000 GT1 is a soft top, the one just below it is a hard top...the Spoon has a hardtop last I checked, don't know about the mugen ones.

The Monte Carlo Blue Spoon and the Amuse Street is soft top.

I was playing around today to build a car for the roadster cups, and got in the MGF. Built it to just below 200hp and turned all assists off except understeer, and went sliding sideways past miatas and Z4's this afternoon. Its pretty awesome, just gets really loose on bumps and elevation changes.

Nissan Fairlady Z S Tune Designed by GT (Z33) '02 (the one in the Nismo Tuning shop under Nissan) with N3/N2 tires is an AWESOME drift car.

Keep in mind, I am pretty anti-Nissan, but this got chosen for a Weekend Rider car on the Nurburgring Diary that I am a participant in on Gamefaqs..and it rocks.

FPV GT ALL THE WAY, I CAN DO AMAZING THINGS WITH IT, BEST DRIFT CAR I'VE HAD SO FAR, DEFFINATLY WORTH SOME EXTENSIVE RESEARCH LOL:lol::crazy:

BTW check my sig, what I've REALLY done with it, it was amazing, also with the FPV GT
