Umm, yeah, this is another trend that needs to get nipped in the bud. Thanks, Pupik.

His name is Alex Prince, and no it isnt me.

I assume we have permission from his parents before we display a picture of a minor all over our internet...

I'm going to make that 1st one for the girl I like at school!

Come to think of it, the 3rd might work too.

EDIT: This made me laugh a little.

There was a tshirt with a message like that... it said:

If a fat girl falls in the forest, do the trees laugh?

Some stereotypes just get older and older the millionth time you've heard it, that's all.

as far as I know, it's been said that the sole reason KFC and Popeye's (another fried chicken chain) haven't gone bankrupt is because 90% of their market is black people... most of their advertising is directed at black people.

Watermelon I don't know.

Recently, there's been a call for black people to boycott KFC, this time because one of their ads could be viewed as racist. The ad in question shows a black family sitting around a kitchen table enjoying a big, greasy bucket of KFC, which I'm sure every black family has done at some point in time or another. But that's not even the issue. Instead, people are upset that this ad shows a black family that has no father. Even though there are black families these days that don't have fathers. If it's true more often than not, and it's not positive, then it's a stereotype. And stereotypes = racist. Duh!

And I can see where people would get this idea. I live up north in Washington state, but while visiting the south (Georgia) I have seen about 6 times more fried chicken places.

I can't really blame them though; fried chicken is pretty damn good.

Damn right.

When I used to live in NYC, I had many eating places closeby. A McDs, a Popeye's, a Burger King and so on... blacks usually gathered up at the Popeye's.

Is creating a commercial for you target consumer overly simplified by accurately recreating their household? I don't think so. I think the black people complaining are being overly sensitive regarding the commercial.

But, these pics of blacks and KFC are without a doubt stereotypical and racist. Next, pics of black people with a piece of watermelon in their hands? Some fried catfish?

Before you know it there'll be songs about black men rolling down the street, smoking indoe, sippin' on gin n' juice

oh, wait...

Sorry, we're going to have to finish this particular debate because of a fresh onset of sanity, logic and reality, and an unhealthy lack of hyperbole, inaccuracy and YouTube-class bigotry.

Next picture, please.

Are you saying we should end the racist conversation? There are so many big words there. If so then I agree, let's get to the next picture.

EDIT: I don't eat at KFC. Here where I live, we have a place called Danny's Fried Chicken. It is THE BEST chicken I have ever had. It's not a chain restaurant though, only exists here in Niceville.

Who the hell doesn't like chicken and watermelon? Show me these people.
