It wasn't hard, considering there's like 15 of them in a row in some threads. Still, it says more about the community than it does me having pointed it out.

The fact that you're actually bothered about an avatar fad says more about you really.
 
I think the avatar fad would be cool if they looked graphically more like the table of elements (and not the photoshop logo). Also I feel its elementary to assume that a substance made up of all our well loved members will never be particularly stable. :-p

You're right. I'm just really insecure and constantly have to prove my capacity to form thoughts independent from those around me.

(Incidentally, had I known everybody would be so offended by grouping together that which they display so publicly, I could do it on a post-by-post basis to give all your respective avatars a chance to proudly shine independent of each other. Sound like a plan?)

I wonder if he got mine...but my subscription is almost up and I would like Chun as my last Avatar. Then again, I will change it again tonight.

Wow, you guys are hard on him. I think the avatars are hilarious, and I think his post is hilarious, and the fact that he saved them, and the fact that people get annoyed, it's all just funny.

It's only an avatar fad, why the big stink? Anyone can use whatever avatar they want as long as it meets the AUP... no problem with that here, so move along?

They were based on the Photoshop logo in the first place. It's just after a few it started looking more periodic tabley, so one of those was made too.
