Oh snap.

Does that really work?

EDIT: It does. Need to try that.

It also works with beer, if you so feel inclined to ruin beers. We found this out the hard way once by adding lime, which added particles that the CO2 used as nuclei for formation... which lead to instant freezing. But in slow motion, like watched the Coronas slowly freeze.

We were amused at first, and then very not amused by the flat beer.

er.... almost all "boycotters" are in game, regardless? Thus missing the actual point of what a boycot is?

They're probably doing "research" into how the lack of dedicated serers affects the game.

Spelling* Police :sly:

Spelling violation not identified. Or are you talking about "woop" instead of "whoop"?

rattrod17's picture must be from Ireland because that shot hurts my eyes.

 That's my brother for you, not always the best with his photo taking!

Uhhhhhhh am I missing something with the original experiment? I've seen plenty of ruined beer bottles that froze and then burst in a freezer.

You don't let it sit in the freezer that long. Just long enough so that it is a bit below the normal freezing point of water.

No, I'm talking about the wrong Police being called. :sly:

I don't mean to derail the thread, but either of the emergency services could have been called in just such a situation.

funny because?

Apart from me never being able, or willing, to pay that amount of money - I fail to see the funny..

Unless I made 10+ million a year, then I definitely do it..

So just how large is a large water, anyway?

Large.

Its most likely a 500 ml of Evian. 5 cents to make, 12 dollars to drink, now thats profit!

7 $5000 bottles of wine seems... possible, barely. I'm a little perplexed at the existence of 3 separate types of wine each costing $5000/bottle. I'd think even the fanciest restaurant would only have one of those, and that would be just for people to gawk at - not actually order 7 of. The rest of the order (cheese, chocolate, and coffee) lines up correctly with wine tasting.

Not sure about a 20% gratuity on a $5000 bottle either.

You guys seem to missing the point. Nello is the real life equivalent of Dorsia.

It looks a little more realistic if you move the decimal place over one, but I guess I'm probably just being captain obvious here.

Again, you're missing the point. Anyway, I would have loved to be the waiter.
