Muzzle discipline could be a little better in the second picture. I would not be pointing a pistol (lower right) back at myself or have one pointing at my arms (lower left).

In the first picture, gun on the right side, so I assume it's a right-handed shooter. They would want the gun laying on its left side so it's in the hand correctly when picked up. The second picture is not even a breakfast plate.

My neighbor does exactly this. She soaps the car down, lets the rain wash the soap off, and hoses any tough/muddy spots. She swears it's the absolute best way to wash a car. ........She does many other things in interesting ways as well....
