Do you think the new idea for deciding a theme is good?

@SouperK

Thanks for the kind words.

To be honest, I've been toying with just having an open, themeless competition. Lots of people are making liveries, I'm wondering if the hassle is in making something that you wouldn't otherwise have made. On the one hand, this is definitely the case for me personally - producing something I had no intention of otherwise making has been a distraction... on the other hand, two or three of my favourite liveries that I've made are LEC entries that I wouldn't otherwise have made. There's definite drawbacks with this option, but ease of access could be a benefit.

Thanks @MatskiMonk

I keep coming back to these forums to check cool liveries and see what you guys are up to.
But I have stopped competing myself because I stopped playing GT7.
Forza Horizon 5 is just giving me much more pleasure in collecting all the cars and for that I do not need to grind the same race over and over.
I don't do liveries over there.

Plus, because we are rebuilding the house over here, whenever I have time to game I just like to jump in and race, and not spend so much time in creating liveries.
Those are the main reasons that I've dropped out of the LEC's.

I also don't have a solution on how to get more competitors again, but I wish you guys all the luck.
And we'll probably be back at it in full once GT8 drops and the boring grind factor is gone for some time.

I feel like an open creativity round is needed every so often as a break form the theme heavy sets.

I feel it gives everyone a chance to reset their creative minds and do something different that they have be working on or something they have had stored away that just doesn't fit into any other LEC....

Don't get me wrong i always love entering but sometimes the themes just don't hit right/not something i follow.

I'm just wondering if its the mental creativity strain of back to back to back theme sets with set theme rules that may be pushing others away 🤔
