Its only fun if you have 4 players. You shouldn't buy it to play it buy yourself. It is a bunch of minigames, kinda similar to mario party, except, that you don't have to get to the end of a board to win the game.
Yeah, it's a party game. I think it's only $20 so it's competetive with any other board-style party game. Loads of fun - my group plays it all the time.
