I am extremely excited to hear this news. Hopefully this means all the buttons are assignable, and I really hope they improve the clutch support! What do you guys will be improved?

Hopefully the wheel will have better handling and feel to it as well. I can only imagine what they have done to improve on this.

Really? That's great news if true. Gonna check out the report you're talking about

lol...check the news section..

OP- i havent used my G27 since precisely 2nd of July...I cant wait to use it after the update...

This is the greatest feature imo! The lack of support was frustrating... I got it damaged some time ago and I got it fixed, but if I haven't fixed, I wouldn't buy another Logitech.

I'm very excited about it!!!

I was reading new features but jumped over my seat when came at the last line of the news
Just can't wait for it 👍

Same, I've always wanted the ability to map and assign all the buttons on the G27, to make good use of em. And also I really hope they improve the clutch support as well!

I'll wait till after i read reviews on 2.0 and g27 compatibility before i decide to drop coin on a new wheel.

Perfect Timing!

Decided to order a G27 because my DFGT is on it's last legs (D-Pad & all the left-hand side buttons no longer work thanks to me storing it under my bed and cracking the wheel!) Was gonna get G27 anyway, this just makes my upgrade even better!

=)

👍

Clutch support? The clutch on my G27 works fine with GT5 :dopey:

But if we get all the buttons assignable, that would be awesome! :D

I think he is saying to have a better simulation of a clutch. You really can't do the things you do with clutch going uphill IRL with GT5.

I'd like to see the clutch support be better. But I can see how it wouldn't be easy to get it completely right.

If you have a road car with a standard clutch in game it would have to have a long amount of travel where you can slip it. (This would also depend on the clutch movement of the particular car.) But then when you buy a better clutch for the car that amount of travel would reduce.

My MR2 has a standard clutch and has a good amount of travel for slipping the clutch if needed but my brothers SR20 powered KP61 Toyota Starlet rally car has an uprated clutch and barely has any slip. Most of the time it is just on or off. This is what I want.

I too am very excited to hear this news. This is really going to be a great update in my opinion. Can't wait. Almost like getting a new game with all the new features plus all the buttons on my G27 will finally work, lol. Go PD!!

Hi guys,
you are right this is the best GT5 news so far. I think we are equally as excited as when the game first launch..I am so happy PD finally going towards the trend of saying they listen to FANs. Guys when you all say clutch support, are u all referring to the issue I always face on G27, whereby 1st gear to 2nd gear often turn to "N'? Only in GT5 when I using my G27, I have to slowly step clutch and shift gear inorder not to mis shift. If this is really true that it will be improved... I can't be more than happy.

I completely forgot about that clutch issue. I do hope that is fixed. Do other wheels with clutches do that too?

Why do you all use the clutch anyway??

Ive hardly used it and rate it as useless. Same as the shifter.

I'm happy that the g27 is filly supported now, great news.
I'm just hoping that it has some feel to it finally, sick of it feeling like I'm turning fresh air.
