So I just got my G27, everythings nice, but the clutch does not work with GT5... any help?

It should work is yours a new on. Or try this it is more to do with timing in my experience. You need to make sure the clutch is engaged (it's basically on or off) when you take the car out of gear AND when you put it back in, it requires you to leave the clutch in longer than what you would in a real car in my experience.

You first have to press the clutch one time to go in 'clutch mode'.
After you have done that, you should be able to use the clutch when using the H-shifter.
After using the paddle shifters, clutch mode will be off again. ;)

When shifting with the clutch you can't hit the throttle while shifting or it won't change gear.

Thanks!!! That helped :) 👍

One interesting thing I found out: With F1 cars the clutch does not work (you don't say  ), but it works with other cars with Automatic paddle shifter Trannies like the LFA, the 458,...
EXCEPT for the Nissan GT-R, where pressing the clutch paddle won't change anything...

That's right. You can use all cars with clutch except the F1 cars. Your GT-R whatsoever should be able to work WITH clutch.

Intresting... I tried everything, Clutch does not affect anything with the GT-R... thats the reason why I started this thread, the first car I drove with my G27 was the GT-R... and clutch does not work with this one

Some cars that has automatic trannies only, the clutch doesnt work but if you buy the tranny upgrade the clutch would work. The gtr, is-f mmm and i dont remember more but those two cars, the clutch wont work because they have automatic tranny.

Yes, cars that come with paddle/auto/squential-stick only transmissions as stock will lock the clutch out. I'm not sure if you can use the clutch in those cars after upgrading the transmission, but I don't know why you would, for realism's sake.

GT-R and LFA are double-clutch paddle shift.
SL55 AMG and IS-F are automatic with paddle control.

Yes, 👍, but the 458 is also Automatic and I can use the clutch with a complete stock 458

Huh. That's strange. I think PD in general just needs to get these things cleaned up. Heck, the GT cars should let me use Clutch AND paddles at the same time with no separate "mode". The clutch should always be active and available to use. Or y'know... they could have made selections like forza.

"Automatic", "Manual", "Manual with Clutch"
Manual with clutch would mean you have to use your H pattern (or clutch and paddles) for H-pattern cars, but clutch would always be active and available for paddle/sequential shifter cars where applicable.
