My G29 arrived yesterday and well i just forgot about the hours lol..., i actually can match my ds4 times after 2/3 hours but my brain it´s still not trained to use that brake pedal propely and i´m not so consistent yet i found more hard to recover the car when you do a mistake but i think thats cause i still have to train more.

I have my configs at 1/3/1, or 3/1 since control sensitivity seems to only affect ds4 but i puted it at 1.

Only played like 4/5 hours straight what configs are you guys using? I mean i don´t have a reference point to how the wheel should feels in terms o information we receive from de wheel/car/track.

FFB above 3 i found that the wheel just get to heavy but i would like some opinions wich is the best config at the moment for g29 that allow us to fell the track better.

Other thing it´s about break pedal, anyone here use clutch pedal to brake? And if yes did it improve your adaptation/times?

Thks

My G29 settings are 2/7/5 and the setting suit me, and I have tried other settings but I always keep coming back to 2/7/5, so I am staying on that configuration. Don't forget try left foot braking and do trail braking, because you get better lap times and better control of your car.

I had few time to test different configs but the ones i tested i felt more confortable with lower numbers and seemed to me that i felt more precise info from the wheel, i increased both but seems that with higher torque i felt more resistance and heavy on turning but less precise road feeling...like bumps etc.

I´ll try all sugestions and see whats suits me better, for what i can tell people have diferent preferences.

About the brake i think it´s a issue cause the curve range of the brake its very reduced, it´s a thing i will have to focus for a while to train my brain to be very gentle since the brake curve it´s really small, i´m aware of tail braking but i´m having trouble in terms of perception but i know that i need to improve that aspect and will have to be forced cause for now i don´t feel natural.

Hope after a couple weeks of training all become more natural but to speak the true i was a bit scared since many people struggled in the transition from pad to the wheel but after 2/3 hours i was 1 sec of my lap times and in 1 track i actually beated my record, just need to be more solid on the inputs and get used to the setup all arround.

I'm at 2/7/5. A good way to improve is go back and beat all your circuit experience, driving mission etc... times.

If you're talking about turn 1 then yeah, it's likely that you'll need the wheel over 90° to make the turn.

Check out this real world video where you can clearly see the driver having to turn the wheel 160° - 170° to make turn 1.

What you need to remember is that GTS is intended to be a sim, not an arcade racer, so it will attempt to replicate real world steering inputs.

What I take from this video is that paddle shifters have made racing these types of cars so much easier; and probably safer too, so you can keep both hands on the wheel.
