Hello !
Thanks for your great mod !
I have just noticed a small issue, the front brake discs (especially the front right one) are not properly centered and they don't rotate smoothly. You have set brake disc shader dark so it isn't really noticeable but with a setting lighter you could see it.
I hope you could solve this. Thank you.

EDIT : Other question: do you speak about 993 GT2 ? It would be a great idea (especially Evo version)
Hi, Thanks for letting me know, I have forwarded it and we'll look into getting it fixed! and yes i'm talking about the 993 GT2
But i'm commissioning all of the evolutions of it, and possibly some one off builds if it fits the budget.
Thanks, it's a great drive.
You asked for issue reports? There's a big black square on the digital dash and the large separate gear LED doesn't work. Fonts might be missing?

What's rather ruining things for me though is the tiny steering wheel and driver. The steering wheel looks like a kart wheel in VR, it's really small, and the driver seems to have been scaled down to child-like proportions so that his grip fits the rim. I think for anyone that drives in cockpit view with the wheel and driver visible, especially VR drivers, both the steering wheel and the driver really need scaling up to something much closer to the correct sizes, otherwise it feels quite weird. Is this a possibility for a future update?
Cheers, and Merry Christmas all.
Hi, Looked into it and so far it seems to be caused by VR, At least that's the current assessment(?) as we have only gotten 2 reports about this and both are from VR users (You and another one) can you switch to non VR and let me know if the issue is still persistent?
If it's still there with out VR mode then we know it's at least not related to VR completely. Unfortunetly neither of us own an VR headset so we are completely unable to check as to why it's happening.

The texture there is an basic .png file that shouldn't cause any issues that we are aware off. Unless there is an issue with VR rendering .png images etc. If you could let me know what csp version you are using would also be helpful, It might be an CSP issue.

Saleen is now officially launched. Wrote an whole bunch of mumbo jumbo over on the Overtake page.

Enjoy it, Have started to gather references for the Porsche 911 GT2 variant that i'd like to commision next.

Please lmk of any issues you find with the car, Physics, Shaders, Textures, anything. we'll try and fix it as fast as possible.

If you feel like it and that it's deserved we got one of those paypal.me links if you want to. Not needed. But any donations will go towards the Porsche.
I haven't had a chance to drive the car yet, but I took the opportunity to check it out in-game. It's phenomenal both on 3D and graphics side, but there's a problem: flashing headlights also affect the tail lights 😢

You can find out which lua is creating a lua error in the lua debug. It's probably one of the APIs that wasn't yet available for your version indeed.

Once spotted, you should be able to track what they're supposed to do or to what input they're supposed to react looking for the API's name in the lib file. The lua descriptions of the APIs are available in the latest CSP library file, which you may not have, so here it is :

If you need further help, let me know and i'll have a look. My guess is that if it was possible to go without the APIs they would have made a script corelated to CSP versions allowing the car to switch from a version to another automatically.

Maybe they got lazy and you have your chances fixing it by suppressing/replacing the dedicated APIs, but there's a good chance they went straight with the possibilities of lastest CSP versions without looking for a fallback.
There are a lot of errors in the lua debug app. Unfortunately I have no idea what to do with them. I'm trying to figure out a way to bypass their scripts and use the old methods to display things on those screens. What's tough is that I don't what should be on them since I can't see them. If I could then maybe I could use another car with similar displays to try and fix these ones. I would guess it would only require changing some mesh names.

I'll get it eventually because i'm stubborn like that but it's frustrating right now because I don't know what i'm doing. I hate not having the knowledge I wish I had.

You can load the newer CSP on top of it, load the car and then swap back to your previous CSP version once you've taken a look. Personally, I've never had issues rolling back although it's only ever been 2-3 versions in my case.

I thought about doing that and have done it in the past to test new CSP versions without any problems rolling back. Guess i'll try that.

On the plus side, i'm making some progress. I got the RPM lights working and fixed one display. That one was actually easy. By renaming the camera folder in the extension directory, it turned that display back to a mirror that could be configured using the mirror app. It just needs some shader adjustments to make the display brighter. I still need to figure out the small lights on top of the dash. I know how to make them show lights, I just don't know what to assign them to. Are they slip\TC (probably not the right term) lights?

Once I figure out the Aston, the McLaren should be pretty simple to do as well. It probably follows a similar setup so it would need the same changes.

For some reason, additional game modes like rally stage, revenant, walking out etc. are not working as they should. They work like Practice/Trackday session. No matter which 3.0 preview I use, they not work

So this released, to incredible fanfare both here and in other AC communities I'm in...

Anyone know when my email with this update is coming, since I own the M4 GT3? Checked my Updates folder and there's nothing.

It's not. Separate car to the older M4. I read somewhere that an update to that car is coming in Jan. This one is good though...

I know.

It's not really a separate car. New gear ratios, slightly altered headlight and rear-view mirror aero. That's it.

My point is, as I say in the link above 5 months ago, "here comes EVO GT3 parade that changes essentially nothing but is for some reason a separate, full-price purchase". Not even a discount.

iRacing offered the upgrade on the M4 for free.

iRacing.

That should tell you all you need to know.

The same here. Black square on the dash.
