Game of The Year voting for GTPlanet Members.
What is the best game of 2015?

Poll closes after 25 days from this post and a winner will be decided, single votes and no multiple accounts, let's keep this fair and square!

So I decided to add a video of my personal Top 5 Contenders.

Don't see how an online only game has any chance of winning, but, I'll add it anyway :)

Because it's Star Wars *hype*

Games I bought this year for Ps4:
Project Cars, Ride, MGS V, FIFA16, Ac Syndicate.

Games I played most this year on Ps4:
BF4 and GTA V. So personally, GOTY... BF4 or GTA V :indiff:

Driveclub: Bikes - okay, not a full game but it is a standalone and has been far more fun than I thought was possible. It also beat flat-out all other bike riding games I've tried in the past few years.

EDIT: I should add that I haven't yet played any other games from the above list...

It is a real tough one between MGS:V and Fallout 4 for me. Reaaalllll tough.

Edit: forgot about The Witcher 3. Ermmmmmmmmmmmmmm

It's hard to beat Fallout 4, but I think if there's a game that could do it, Bloodborne is probably that second best option. Star Wars Battlefront will probably beat out Black Ops 3 for Multiplayer Game of the Year, but there isn't enough there for it to be outright.

Edit. Okay I see a few of these have been added now. Here are some of my votes.

  • Multiplayer / co-op campaign GOTY would be Black Ops 3. Still cant believe I am saying that. Havent bought a cod game since WAW.
  • Racing game Forza 6.
  • Single player game. Fallout 4 (and I am nowhere near beating the game yet but it is that good)

Halo 5 multiplayer has been some of the most fun I ever had in halo multiplayer but I cant quite put it in GOTY material .

Out of all the games in that list, Super Mario Maker.

Suprised no Forza 6 or Splatoon in that list. Both are incredible games. Splatoon was such a huge surprise this year honestly.

Oops nevermind. I read that out of context. Oh this reminds me I still have not played Rise of the Tomb raider.

Game of the year for me is Mad Max. It's a shame it got so overlooked by everyone (possibly due to the lack of marketing) because it's superb.

Released in the same week as MGS was a moron move... I did like the hour I played it, but did not return yet. Belongs to my evergrowing libary of games I need to play.

FOr me it's a hard one between Fallout 4 (graphics meh, lots of polish missing, but just so addicting) and MGS (Polished to excellence, gameplay is perfectly polished, but sadly a cut off story because Fonami).

And let's not forget Assetto Corsa and Pcars. BMW 1M and the Ring all year long .

After a minute of reflection, the first mission of MGS was just so mesmerizing. MGS

My clear choice in the Indie departement is Life is Strange. Indie GOTY 2015

Bloodborne!!!!!!!

It's just so brilliant. The atmosphere is perfect, the combat is phenomonal, and the enemy design is absolutely terrifying. Admittedly, the game could do a better job at explaining its lore, but if you're willing to read a bit online and use your imagination a bit, it's both deep and compelling. I've played roughly 100 hours of Bloodborne, and still very much enjoying it.

MGS V is great, but with such abysmal story and characters, an obscene amount of tagged on content, and the occasional baffling game design choice, I couldn't possibly make it my GOTY. Even though I've already spent about 150 hours with it.

Haven't played Fallout 4 yet, but while it looks promising in a number of ways, I couldn't possibly award the GOTY title to a game that, like all Bethesda titles, will require mods to reach its full potential.

I have not played any of those games, but I would have to say MGSV as the game of the year, no doubt. Witcher 3, Bloodborne, and Forza 6 are close but no cigar. All the others - not even close.

Rocket League, which to me came out of nowhere since I was expecting pCARS to take the crown. It is undoubtedly my most played and favorite game this year. Very addictive and an absolute blast regardless if it's shorter or longer sessions. pCARS and Drivecub Bikes are a close second.

Didn't play MGS4 after how Kojima'a tenure ended at Konami, what a shame, he made them billions of dollars, how petty can they be? I'm sure it's a great game but I'll never know for sure because I refuse to play it.

Fallout 4 is probably going to be my pick for GOTY (when all is said and done) but I need to put more time into it, I only have about 20 hours so far and I haven't traveled past the Corvega Factory yet. I have so much of the map still yet to see. I haven't encountered a single bug, the game for me at least is flawless, riveting, and every single day I can't wait for my next play session.

Forza 6- a phenomenal game which could be considered for GOTY due to all the improvements, but the handling is almost too hardcore for me now, I have put less time into it than any other Forza game in the past so far, because the fun factor just isn't there like it used to be. Maybe that will change but I am seriously about to start turning assists 'back on' I love a good sim and all, but at times this game is just brutal on the difficulty level (as far as keeping your car under control). Yeah you can rewind, but I hate doing that. I think Forza Horizon 2 is the more enjoyable game of the two and I predict that game series will out sell Forza Motorsport and become the principle breadwinner after Forza Horizon 3 is released.

Witcher 3, I was hoping to say Fallout 4, but I don't find it nearly as immersive as Witcher 3 was.
