MGS3. I've played it through three times, and I'm still finding secrets. I still don't have the Infinity face paint, or the Stealth uniform. Awesome game.

NFSU2 just isn't fun. It's like a been there done that kinda thing, even with Brooke Burke in it. 
My pick would have to be San Andreas. There is just nothing else like it.

Technically, GT4 could be eligible in the Japanese market.
My vote would go to GTA or MGS3. Both sequels to immensely popular games. GTA expanded the game environment beyond what anybody could've expected, and MGS3 is a fresh take on it's genre. I haven't played it yet though...

It´s hard to pick just one, but I guess my favorite is Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal. GTA San Andreas and Burnout 3 are also great games, and MGS3 I have but didn´t start to play yet. Gotta finish the others first so I make some space in my Memory Card.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for sure. You should use some of the more popular picks from this and hold a poll. Say, include Halo 2, Half-Life 2, San Andreas, Doom 3 etc. I'd like to see how that goes.

Of all the games I played this year like I would have to say GTA:SA and I haven't even finished it yet. Its just such a huge game with everything possible that you could want to do in a game between flying helicopters, driving monster trucks, cars, boats, weight training, blood, killing, recruiting gang members, clothing, eating, haircuts, tatoos, muscle building, stamina, parachuting, gambling........ Its just everything all wrapped up into 1 game. 👍

In terms of amount of play time Pro Evo 4 (Well Winning 11 , but yeah same thing)
Honurable mentions go to Kaido Battle 2 and Toca 2. Although I only started getting into Toca days before I got GT4.
