Maybe they should sell platinum trophies on PSN.

4 of 5 of those games are not easy to get a platinum, LBP, Wipeout HD and GTA IV are all too dependent on online play and GT5 is extremely time consuming, I'm not sure about Far Cry 2 as I don't have it.
The platinums I have are:
Resident Evil 5 - Fairly straightforward and not particularly difficult, especially if you play it in co-op with a mate, it's fairly time consuming though and requires several playthroughs.
Tekken 6 - Fairly easy, just time consuming, especially to get the "Gallery Completionist" trophy.
Sega Megadrive Ultimate Collection - Easiest platinum ever. You could rent this game and have the platinum in half a day.
Heavy Rain - Average difficulty, requires several playthroughs to see all endings so it takes a while but you should get every other trophy along the way.
WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010 - Simple but requires a fair amount of playing.
The hardest part of earning a platinum is having the patience to put 30,40,50 etc hours into one game without getting fed up of it.

I'm going for the Black Ops platinum trophy now, the rest of the trophies I need are the completion of levels on Veteran, and destroying every vehicle on one other level.
The Wipeout trophies will take a while to get. My highest Zone is about 50 and you need to get to ~70.. Easy Platinums is the Sly Series, my friend has platinum'd Sly 1 and 2 already

Burnout Paradise. Its Fun too. You'll need to borrow a PS3 eye toy though.

Most of those are pretty hard. LBP offline requires all levels without deaths, but online you'll need to rely on other people to like or "heart" you and your levels, and unless you're a creative beast, that's quite hard to do nowadays. GT5 is a huge time dump. Fun, obviously, but a crapload of time. And I think Wipeout is notoriously one of the hardest platinums of all, in terms of raw skill needed.
If you're up for buying a game to platinum that will be fun and you'll enjoy (unlike Hannah Montana or Terminator Salvation), check this out:
I'm at 16 platinums, almost 17, and Burnout Paradise is still one of the easiest ones. The only two things that make it difficult is getting 8 players in one place online and using a camera. If you really want a platinum without any hassle, then just get LA Noire. Nothing technically difficult about it and no online trophies, just replay and time.

If you go for gta, there are specific cheats that you cannot use, I have seen a few people with battlefield 1943 plat.

If you want good games with easy platinum trophies, I would recommend (and I have platinum in these):
NFS Hot Pursuit - Very cool and exciting racing game. Could have a bit more content, but it's awesome. Online is straight away, offline is a bit time consuming but I can be fun if you repeat the same events (and will have to because of grind) with different cars
Fallout 3 - This game will take you lots of hours, but only hours of enjoyment. On of my favourite games of all times, with a easy platinum.
Fallout New Vegas - Another masterpiece, see above.
Burnout Paradise - Epic fun, epic easy platinum.

Fallout 3? Are you serious? XD I have 200+ hours on that with DLC and I still don't have platinum! But yes, it's a great game and I've enjoyed every hour

Fallout 3 and NV should take about 100 hours to platinum (doing a bit side work, but trying to focus on the trophies), actually I spent around 120 hours in Fallout 3 to get the Platinum and 100% (all 5 DLC), and am at 110-120 in Fallout NV with the Platinum and current 100% (3 DLC), still a ton more content in those games that's not required to Platinum/100%...
Both are great games, but sadly suffer a lot from bugs and freezes (Fallout 3 from my experience is worst, but I played the GotY edition, that's known to be the one with more freeze problems...).
As for easy platinums, I can't say much, since I always though Tekken 6 was 1 of the easiest I got, still some friends struggle to get it (Nightmare Train specially), and well most of my Platinums take in average 100 hours, so they are time consuming...

Platinums are mean to be worth winning I guess To platinum fortunately DLC is not required, and actually I don't have F:NV New Vegas just because there is one trophy (Pickpocket 50 people) that I haven't bother yet
I also have NFS Shift and Just Cause 2, but those I think are more difficult (Shift because of online and Just Cause 2 because of long way to 75%, Hardcore difficult and to find all the cars/bikes/boats/airplanes is a pain).
BTW I'm planning to platinum InFamous (sometime), Dead Nation (if the difficult doesn't push me down), LBP (if I'm able to creat cool levels - doesn't seems possible but whatever), F:NV (reason above) and if god helps me, and I would be very proud, GT5
@Han_the_dragon - I got Fallout 3 (no DLC or GOTY) and fully updated is really very stable. F:NV froze +- 1 time per day (depending on time playing) but after some patch is become very stable too. Still have to try the newest patch.

Ya, I had saw that the original Fallout 3 after all the patchs end up being stable, but the GotY is far from it...
As for Platinums I have 24 and don't feel anything special about most of them (only one I'm really proud is my 1st Demon's Souls, because I did everything alone including the Pure Bladestone, my 2nd Demon's Souls didn't felt so great, even though I farmed the Pure Bladestone in that one too..), currently working on Star Oceans 4... already 400 hours into it, and foreseeing at least more 200 hours... LittleBigPlanet is also in the list, but as of now I'm waiting for my order for Catherine to arrive...
Doubt I will ever get GT5, Wipeout, SF4, SSF4 or Blur platinums...
Also as for LittleBigPlanet creating a good level isn't needed if you don't mind boosting (I personally don't mind, since I don't like online trophies...)
