Game won't start up anymore.

So I went to fire up GT5 today to get in a few laps before work, and the game got stuck at the "Gran Turismo 5" logo screen. I quit the game, took out the disc, made sure it was clean, rebooted the PS3, and tried again. Same thing. I let it sit there for over 30 minutes and nothing. I am scared.

Any ideas?

I'm trying the fix now, which includes alot of annoying re-installing. also steve30x said that clearing the online cache helped for him, but I'm not sure how to do that.

Have you tried signing out of PSN and loading the game? This has been a common problem when the servers are overloaded/your internet connection is temporarily slow for whatever reason. (Though this typically happens on the silver GT logo). It's worth a shot.

Same problem I had, log out of PSN and it should load right up.

Need to figure out what the problem is.
