Gearbox?

Just wondering, if you mess around with the gearbox settings of a car, you can get crazy settings out of them. For example X1 proto can apparently do 700+mph.

(this is done via setting the max speed to minimum then max the final drive, then max the top speed, then min the final drive, finally max the 7th gear)

I just wanted to know if it was possible to hit that speed? maybe with continuous drafting of another car with the same setup? has anyone tried this? I only got 310mph out of it but that wasn't with these settings. Thanks.

Put ride height and downforce at minimum, that might help.

I think you'd be limited by drag, but more likely limited by (lack of) road before you hit the rev limiter.
