Not sure if it helps but some circuits have quite a few sectors like Nordschliefe and La Sarthe. You can move between each one by pressing the arrows either side of the 1 2 3 4 sector times.

The last missing sector bug still happens even when scrolling to the last of multiple sector numbers.
I'll also add that you can't see tyre indicators while in live timing screen. And i don't like the use of pointless zeros in the timing lists. Why say +01.912 when it should be +1.912. Fussy i know. But GT5 was 05 years in the making.

Not sure if this has been reported yet or not... when you enter a race or practice and swap exhaust systems, the exhaust sound does not change until you have exited out of the race and enter another one.
 
Probably been said (not going to read 28 pages..) But I was on SSR7 and at one of the hairpins the ground was purple... I was driving a Fairlady Z, didn't happen in anyother cars I tryed.
 
I was driving the European Championship Rome track and managed to flip my car. I was placed back on the track the other side of the barrier on the right of the track. I had visions of being unable to get through the barrier to rejoin the race, but was able to just drive straight through it back onto the track.

I seen it in my AE86, I thought it was just a purple light somewhere.:dopey:
 
The Spyker C8 is STILL mislabelled and an FR car. It's REALLY a midengine. Just because it has an Audi V8, doesn't mean it's in the same place as the Audi engine...although, I think the Spyker has the engine from the TT.
 
I noticed a small thing while doing an endurance race earlier.I had to pit and after the guys were done with my car the guy holding the gas can stayed leaned in as if he was still putting fuel in.It was kind of funny looking.
 
Bought a Mclaren F1, had a test on Nurburgring and the interior dials were working and could be seen.

I then tried Deep Forest Raceway and the Interior dials were now Pitch black. I don't know what this is related too as I only tried one track but it is present nevertheless.
 
Have to report the weird psycho a.i behavior at the starting line for rallys. The a.i occasionally go crazy, hit the wall or reverses and slams into you, then takes off. My car (while being moved by a.i prior to the co drivers countdown) positions itself to face a wall. Stupid glitche. Quality control is something PD forgot this time around.
 
If you exit the online lobby before it loads any rooms, the game will freeze. If it checks the network environment, make sure it loads up some rooms before you decide to go back to the previous screen.
 
Also Lancer Evo T.M.E needles on rev counter and speedo do not light up at night and just appears black. Ive seen this happen in many rallys Ive used the car in. If the lights are on, the dials light up. The needles do not.

Game freezes--not system. 46 laps into a 60 lap race I lost all controller input and had to hit the PS3 button to exit the game. It happened again at the same event, but at the end of the race 2 times--car kept driving laps--and it happened at Monza once. That was in B-Spec.

Same problem as above, once at Indy and once at Monza, but in A-Spec race. When I crossed the finish line the car kept turning laps and I couldn't exit the race. PS3 button, quit game.

Lost engine sound a number of times, could still hear the tyres on gravel/tarmac and the transmission, just not the motor.
 
When you press the brakes on the Camaro IROC-Z, the taillights shut off completely. Pretty sure it wasn't like that in GT4, either.
 
When I enter a race in GT mode, namely the 80s car race in professional, the pause menu disappears. Even after I win the cars just keep doing victory laps and pressing start only pauses the game without any pause menu.

Edit: tried changing cars, going into practice mode, even deleting the game data and still nothing...the pause menu wont show up!

Not sure if this has been mentioned. I'm not reading through all 28 pages to find out. But in the "Formula Gran Turismo World Championship" On the Nurburgring GP/F nearly all of the AI cars spin out on the tight chicane before the final turn. Just about every lap. Makes this race a little easy to win. Easier then normal i should say.

I also experienced allot of freezing using the "data logger" . Mainly when uploading a reference time.

all day today i can't gift anything to anyone, i get "upload error" everytime. tried it to multiple accounts and everything.

if i use a car, i lose the car, if i use a gift certificate, it comes back, paint chips dont work either.

seriously wtf is going on

tried everything, reseting PS3, rebooting router, nothing seems to work.

is anyone else having this problem today?
 
- EXTREME Dream Car Series AI start wet races on dry tires, go super slow, pit on first lap and switch to wets

- Peugeot 908 brights dont work at night at Lemans
 
I recently got an odd error. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue... For some reason today, when I pop GT5 in my PS3 to play, I cannot use any buttons on my controller. It's odd. It'll let me continue after cycling back and forth from the XMB menu, but everything else doesn't work. I've tried with my trusty dual shock and my DFGT... Anyone else encounter this?
 
2 bugs i found:

The Alfa Romeo LZ... ('65)

in cockpitview, the driver alternates between 2 different shift animations. Every next ger he needs to up- or downshift he's either right or shifting somewhere close to the middle on the dash and pulls on something invisible.
Looks like they manages to get another shift animation in there. He should only use the low animation.

Lancia Delta Integrale (p)

If you're in the car, it has the nicely detailed borderline on the front window. But it has a glitch because of that. Finer details such as the borderlints on rallytracks like Eiger N. don't show up in the small borders. Making it a weird experience to drive this car on rally in cockpit view.
 
I lost all the tuning I had done to one of my cars. The parts were not in my items list, and the money was gone. 2nd dtime this has happened now.
 
I've been playing the game since the day it has been released and for the first ever the game has crashed / messed up, not just, not just twice but five times today. Twice it has gotten stuck on that GT logo loading screen and I've had to quit the game, and three times it's gotten to a menu but I've not been able to navigate it because the little arrow icon hasn't appeared, even after minutes of waiting.

I'm not sure if it's because of my new DFGT wheel or just a general glitch but has it affected anyone else?
 
Don't know if anyone else had this happen already in B-Spec, but I was just doing the British Lightweights on the Top Gear Test Track with my XJ13 Race Car Chrome Line, was ahead pretty far, so the drivers were crossing eachother in the middle. My driver got hit off the track and instead of continuing the track the normal way he went to the other side, pretty much skipping half of the track. You'd think that wouldn't really be a problem, but then I looked at his position. He was suddenly 11th and back at lap 5 instead of 6! Guess the AI got confused where to go and chose the wrong way, messing everything up.

Now I know this isn't really a big problem, just have to restart the race and try again, but it shouldn't have happened. Was kind of funny how this happened though.


Edit: It happened AGAIN, exact same spot another driver hits my driver and he just skips half the track, going back to 12th and 5th lap...

When the lights are ON on the Lexus Concept '07 at night or in Nur. because on Nur. races the lights are always ON, the brake lights don't work. The brake light are only visible when the car lights are OFF. See for your self.
