Man, this Board Comp has sure turned into quite the mess hasn't it? The tempers have really flared and folks are now starting to show there true colors. I really can't believe some of the way people have acted, especially Iforce. I have nothing against him, but some of his posts are just downright unprofessional for a admin of a website.
I'm really amazed that there is a thread about the next Board comp. Honestly, I'm not to entirely sure that I would want to compete in it and I cant imagine that anyone would actually want to host it after all that has transpired during this one. I'm sure that the problems that have happened in the current comp will most certainly be worked out but there will certainly be new ones that will arise and I'm not sure that I would want to go through all of this again.

What are your feelings and opinions on this?

I agree the whole comps sucks and am just as surprised to see talk about the next one too! I won't be taking part in another board comp or any major competition come to think of it . The whole thing has been a shambles from the off ! we as a team have had bad luck with 5 DNF's/DA's , considering this we done not too bad and wouldn't have come last at all.I'm still glad though that I was part of this team you are all nice people true gents, thanks for making me welcome and letting me be part of it all

What the hell is "Papa Ooooooooh Mow Mow" and why does your location say Frostbite Falls, Minnesota when you live in Deleware?

I need answers mister.

Heheheh, well, for public record:

Papa oooh mow mow is a background vocal used in surf songs by the Beach Boys and others - that's 'mow' to rhyme with 'wow', not like to mow your lawn. A surf band called the Trashmen wrote a song called 'Papa Oooh Mow Mow'... and the Trashmen were from Minneapolis, so I doubt they did a lot of surfing. That got me to thinking what it must be like to be a surfer from Minnesota, and it was also cold as crap here while I was thinking this, so I got to thinking about Rocky & Bullwinkle, who supposedly lived in Frostbite Falls, MN.

That's the thought process in a nutshell, if you can call it a 'process'!

Yeah..it was a good fun spot race that took no time out of my busy schedule...nice finish too Kel!! I'll be keeping an eye out for the next one too.

It'll be a cold day in hell before I take part in another series like this one...don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed racing with YOU all, but I just couldn't believe the Bull$hit that went on nearly every race over at the GTN...it has disgusted me. I'll stick to the friendly atmosphere of the TORC series over at the GTF and whatever you guys take part in.

Using the MK Program, is one able to make both PAL and NTSC garages to post up and have people download?

Yes you can! to make a pal garage just load a PAL gamesave into MK's and edit the cars in as you would with NTSC

Here is what you could do. There was a guy that I worked with that had his tires cut up by some people that he worked with. This happened with 12 tires of his before he left his car in the parking lot, and just sat across the way from it and watched it. And he just waited there until he caught the guy doing it. Snapped a photo of the guy in the act and then turned him into the police. They guy got busted and paied some heavy fines. Then, the guy sued him in court for all the tires that were slashed. He won, and got money for his tires plus extra money for someother damages. Oh, and then he fired him from his job.

cool would have to get a remote camera or get a family member to do that sort of thing for me a he is always wandering off ( he is the company director for ****s sake) and leaving me to run the place so i cant get out there and do it myself
the old man just made a suggestion:
get a cordless drill and just drill a whole or 2 in his bike tyre, that would make for a long walk home pushing the bike (lives about 20 minutes away) ha ha ha

My favorite bit of automotive retribution is this: buy a locking gas cap, put it on the guy's car, and throw the keys in the nearst dumpster. Works great if he's the type to wait a while befors getting gas. Plus it does no permanent harm to the innocent car.

A nice clear set of 8x10s works too, if you think he'll do it again.
