thanks I appreciate it I would be satisfied with that list even if those eve secret characters werent in there. I hope this dosent become like street fighter 4 arcade edition and marvel vs capcom 3 release a good game with possible DLC characters ala Mortal kombat patch all the stuff needed but dont have us by several versions of the game. I hope

But hasn't Juri been deconfirmed already? Odd question to ask, but the srk guys already proved that list as fake for that very reason.

I have to check an official leak list before posting  Did they disprove Sakura already?

I am looking through the thread but she is paired up Karin.
Some system, random Stuff I noticed.

- You cant charge every special, only certain ones to Level 3 for the free Super.

- People tried to do Tag Supers 236+ MP MP, but didnt get them out. Probably only works with assigend Partner Characters (Ryu/Ken, Chun/Cammy etc)

- 3, 3 DP shortcut still in

- Common knowledge (for those that followed E3 vids), but throws have poor range in SxT. Someone did Kara Throw w/ Ken, and still kept whiffing from small distances. Had to get near to be able to throw.

- Hugo is hugeeeeeee. So huge he cant duck under Tatsus lol. I fear this guy is gonna eat unblockables and ridiculous combos in future.

- Seems you can connect a lot of stuff on airborne, jumping opponents, Like you could do non-counter hit crouch MP, Hadoken (or any other special with Shotos) on airborne opponent and it would hit.

- You can build Meter by whiffing normals. Only Mediums, Heavy gained meter. Lights and Throw whiff gave nothing.
Amount of button presses to Meter gain (always same Amount) was not always consistant.

eg. 2-3 Medium Presses gained meter, 1-2 Heavys gaiend meter. Probably uses some formula like : Gain Meter = Raise value by 12, 1 x Medium = Value of 5

- Kuma has trouble jumping over Projektiles, in some cases it seems he cant or really difficult (think Hakan, Zangief in ST etc). He does have Roll type Move (like rest of Tekken cast) that can bypass Projectiles.

Poison

- 214 + K is a overhead, cannot combo on landing and has Followup Attack for added hits and Knockdown (214+K, 2+K) Ex Version is Auto Homing (think Bisons Headstomp) even on fullscreen.

- Seem to have nerfed the range on Projektile. In her 1st gameplay trailer you could see her Slowwwwwwwwwwww Projectil go really far, more then entire screen range. Now its like Chuns, doesnt go further then 1 screen

Ibuki

Overhead 6+MK can be followed up w/ combo upon landing and Corner crosses (opponent in crouch, Back to the Wall)

Chun Li

I could not do Overhead Headstomp (jump 2+MK), even on Hugo it didnt work. I think that sux cuz thats a really fun technique for her in the SF games. Hope they change that.

Tekken Characters seem really interesting & strong.

PS. Yun, Yang, El Fuerte in the new Backgrounds, so can cross out those characters for possible Cast.
and
Every character, including Shuma Gorath and Jill, were rebalanced carefully.

• There is a secret mode that hasn't been announced yet for UMvC3.

• Marvel was extremely strict about Dr. Strange's moveset and phrases.

• There will be a UMvC3 strategy guide similar to the one released for MvC3.

• The matchmaking system and netcode are receiving a good overhaul.

• All characters will be unlocked when you start the game.

• Due to the feedback at EVO, a "Perfect" screen will now be inserted in UMvC3.

• Due to notification, the new character themes for the UMvC3 will be uploaded on the main webpage in the near future.

• There is a new trailer coming in the next month or so that will reveal a lot more about the game.

• The in-game HUD has been finalized.

Yes, safe to say. Sometimes Capcom can make the 🤬 business decisions ever in the history of man.

Like no megaman, lol just my personal preference me and capcom have a love hate relationship relationship. honymoon ended after resident evil 5 and not a big Devil may cry fan anymore

With a gazillion fighting games these days, which would you say is the best? I only have Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection, and while that is alright, the graphics are dated and when I let it rest a while and come back and have forgotten all the combos, I have to relearn the game and that's a big barrier making me not even picking it up at times. I had a look at Marvel vs Capcom 3 and it looks good, got fun characters (I used to read Spiderman and other comics) and seems to have easy and sharp controls to get the hang of. It is good if the controls are not difficult to learn when I have a friend over that might be new to it but as always, if I really like a game, I'm willing to spend the time to learn. I'm sure you understand. I know that Marvel vs Capcom 3 will release again with more characters and I'm waiting for that unless there is some other game that you could recommend also. Mortal Combat seems cool too I guess, but I've never been much into that series before. Or maybe coming Soul Calibur V or Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit? I played that demo, it was pretty good. Or something else?

What do you think?

There is no best. The different Fighting Games all play differently; that is, you don't play them the same way you play others.

everyone has different preferences my 2 favorite fighting games are tekken 6 and street fighter 3 3rd strike. its weird I definitly enjoyed capcom fighters alot more in the arcades but enjoy all the namco games at home more. I am also a closet SNK guy(Samurai showdown FTW!!)and KOF fan but I am not very good at the series.

I only bought jill but now I am waiting for UMVC3...

I bought the collectors edition didnt like it after 2 weeks and sold it for more money on craigslist lol If I am ever interested in MVC3 again Ill borrow my brothers copy

I know. That goes for gaming in general. But you probably understand what I wonder. What would you recommend and why.

A bit late (very) to the party. Just decided to buy Marvel vs Capcom 2. Loving Tekken Tag style character switchs so far.

Want a recommendation? There is are ways to play fighting games but I think that alot of people try to understand the mechanics in FG genre. But the majority tend to work on Frame data and theory fighter. Darren, it is never too late you join the boat if you wanted to be" Taken for a ride"

gametrailers and the atlus usa youtube channel have introductions for several characters on King of fighters 13 ( Terry, Andy, Joe, Mai,Kyo, and a couple of others) just keeping yall updated

What do you guys think of the tekken characters in SF X Tekken and how they have been implimented. I think Kazuya woked out nice and I am still analyzining Raven( one of my tekken MAins) also looking at king somthing seems off but you know these are just builds and not the finished product.

Well it could have been the near final build. You don't know that! I mean Tekken 6 was a different build to Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion and Soul Edge was a different build to Soul Blade.

he game was then ported to the Sony PlayStation and Namco chose to use the name Soul Blade in Europe, North America and Australia to avoid potential complications due to EDGE Games's earlier "EDGE" trademark.[6]

just may end up being better at SF x T over MvC... Hell, I might just like it more since there's maybe only one or two people who wield swords...

two sword/knife, 3 ninjas, and 1 popular women....including one cup!
