Can you make a second driver in GT5 then go online and race your other drivers B Spec drivers? Via remote?

On the same take, can I race the hell as (Driver 2) and gift cars to my other driver? (Driver1).

---

I'm going to try this as I was enjoying the Seasonals very much

Unlike Wile E. Coyote I will get this roadrunner... My friends at ACME incorporated will help me?

(The rason I want to get cash with no day movement is - of course - an expensive car has turned up and I am a bit light on the old folding money...

I understand there is a gift limit of 1,000,000 on cars but I could earn the cars gift them and sell them several time? - But it seems these gift cars are worthless if you try to sell them on and you can only gift 1 car per day.
seems like a ncie way not to exploit things, if a bit annoying for me at the moment.

you can only use one driver at the time online in b-spec remote... if you want to use more you need a second account..bob from second account can race against all your drivers on the first account

online seasonal timetrials are making money without moving the day...if you are at 200% you can make 2.000.000 credits

that is useful. thanks for the fast reply too.

So I could log on as driver 2 - start a remote race, hire all of Driver1's BSpec dudes and let them loose for a 20 minute race.
that seems pretty neat... (Guess I'll have to friend request too.)

...If it is true then happy days are here.

That 14.9 million 2J Accelleratii incredibus

will be bought by the Carnivorous vulgarism

And if it isn't true... then it sure beats falling off a cliff or exploded by a rocketpack or the usual end for the coyote
So just stick to one race, and repeat it until I have the cash shouldwork? or can I float about doing different ones.

Sorry to bea girl about this but I've been hunting a Vertigo for 14 months now so I don't want to add the 2J to that missing car, too.

Ok from looking about here it seems like the TT's dont pay out once you gold them. Or rather once per bronze silver gold. So you can walk the TT through each getting the payout for each level. But once you gold no more coin.

So you make your money just running through all the seasonal TT's that are up there.

So this works but isnt like the races where you can race them over and over again for the same amount of money.

I am going to boot the game up in an hour or so and test it myself.

^it's true, sadly. Once you've achieved gold, no matter how often you race it, you'll get no more money.

Another ideals to buy Ferrari F40's with a second account and gift them to your main account and sell them for about $275k a piece. May take a couple days (especially with the crappy one-per-PS3 trade limit), but it's probably the only other way to make money without risking advancing days.

Unfortunatly the I already had gold in the time trial so I knew that was a none starter, had a dash at the other Seasonal event... 650PP at Route5

Did the same event, repeated it over and over. and when I returned the days had flown by -

Guess I'll just have to wait for it next year when it comes up.

That is twice I've used my Pug908 and had a huge(*) let down after using it.

well 6 hours of LeMans 24 was a good 6 hours of racing and the rince and repeat Seasonal did make aload of cash and I had fu running hard and I must have improved my track knowledge - and I got a nice collection of brain buckets - and the XP came rolling in - AND I got to play GT5 rather than fart about. the rate the game is giving me XP I'll be able to run the nurburg24 in a few days. Level 37 now

thanks for trying guys

Yeah the only seasonals that you can do without game days passing is the time trial and i believe drift trials. The rest of the seasonals pass game days like a normal a-spec race would.
What I do to avoid situations like this is grind the b-spec remote races with my secondary account, but i leave a few of my drivers with their credits. Then if a really expensive car like this pops up I just hop into my driver list, cash one out and go buy the car. Keeps the stress of having to make X amount of credits while only allowing X amount of game days to pass. If you do this though remember your max credits in your "wallet" is 20 million, you have 5 drivers and with a 200% bonus you need each of them to have 10 million to be able to cash in 20 million every time.

yeah - I was unlucky to be very low on funds when it turned up. I suppose one plan could be to buy storage cars, to sell off when you need the cash (No sure the exchange rate for cars but) BSpec drivers - that is a plan but I've only been online a week now.

And honestly I'd have bought it and not used the car for months. Ive a 2D that I like but not really used in anger yet. The 2J will just have to get in the queue of nice cars I've yet to trash about with.

But - you never know another 2J may just roll up next few days on my list.

Nice stuff there smyth.

One thing that is mystifying me. I setup another PS3 account and started from day 0 (of course) so it gave me another shot at some UCD cars I missed. Plus a 1970 ticket I can send to my main account.

There is a car in the UCD of my new account I want but I only have 2 mil credit right now. It's the 4 mil Toyota - MINOLTA Toyota 88C-V Race Car '89. So like RYK I am trying to not advance the day to keep this car in the UCD. I think I at most I can advance it 3 days before it disappears from the list.

But, back to the mystery, I can gift things from my new account (the 1970 ticket for example) to my main account. But I can't seem to gift anything from my main to my new. Every time I try it says [you have reached your limit].

So yeah that makes it difficult to gift cars to the new account and then sell them to help fund my desire to get that Minolta Toyota.

If you give me your six latest cars in the UCD I can tell you what master list you are on and what is coming up.

Just the top 6 would do, plus knowing your game day would help. Check that off your PS3 GT game save. It will list game day, car and credit amount.

You can create a third account and remote bspec grind both original accounts to get the money for the Minolta. Though I believe that is too expensive to gift to your main account.

As for your issue with gifting from the main account I believe your issue is the limit. You can gift one car per day per PS3 not per account. Hope that helps.

Ah! thanks.

That looks suspiciously like day 3717 of UCD list 2 ;)

Unfortunately, no sign of the Minolta appearing in the next 150 days or so... Check the first link in my sig for our list of UCD cars, but it doesn't advance that much further than where you are at the moment.
Keep checking though, as Duck is putting in some good work keeping that list growing :)

We shall see who is right! I am guessing you are. If there is one thing I am still trying to figure out it's the days. Once I find where I am I can work off the list but I have had to adjust the days in the excel spreadsheet I am using.

I am working with the GT5 v2.0 UCD Compiled 2-15-12

erm - neither of you - Only on day 3652.

I'll have a spin later and see what cars come up next...

Big bet says it isn't ...
Gillet Vertigo
Chapparel 2J
Mitsubishi GTO LM

You'll have an offset, it's usually within 50 days or so of the list day. Your offset is one of the larger ones I've seen funnily enough!

Worldrevolver did paste the correct list of cars though :)

Unfortunately, none of those 3 cars are gonna show for a little while... (assumed the GTO LM is meant to be the FTO super touring car?) But hey, you'll be moving into uncharted territory soon, so who knows :D

Clibby, can I bother you to enlighten me on the day offset? Hoping since you have been dealing with this for awhile you might have some info. It took me a while to figure out which list I was on and what day but once those were sussed out the list works perfectly.

Any idea what makes the days offset? If everyone has the same cars fill the UCD (either list #1 or list #2) in the beginning and that is Day 0 and 6 cars come in per day/race run....where does the offset occur?

The 'offset' is what we call the difference between your day 1, and the master list's day 1. This is not necessarily a whole day - may include a few cars from the previous/next day.
Not everyone starts in the same place on the list, it is specific to each PS3 - I can only presume they calculate it from the PS3's ID / serial number or something silly :)

For example, player A starts on master list day 1, matching the master list (hence this is where our info starts - there may yet be someone who started one car earlier !)
Player B could start on day 4 of player A's game. Player C could start 50 days later in the list, and miss out on some of the rare cars Player A saw at the start!

Ok that makes sense.

Sort of! But yeah, it does.

Now I understand why my in game UCD is around 13 cars off the spreadsheet.

Thanks a million for the info.

Your offset is one of the larger ones I've seen funnily enough!

Never mind the size, feel the quality.

I was jesting about the GTO LM - that was from the original GT game...

Actually when I got my PS3 - I put the wrong date in - October 26th rather than November 26th when GT5 came out - not sure but that could be a factor? - I realised the date was wrong the nxt month when it was a day out... and actually a whole month behind.

XD.
But I wouldn't have thought the date would have changed anything - there were more than a few of us who picked up the game on or near to release day, and everyone's just as jumbled up haha! We're just treating it as a random number anyway - so long as someone knows where they start, they're fine!

Ah yes, that GTO had 7 gears or something didn't it? Wow, that was a while ago!!
